Look again 99.
I nailed it! :)
Years ago I did a lot of research on CLR. I even talked to a guy at a company that located news leases for CLR. He said Harold Hamm, founder of CLR was a very respected man in the oil industry.
Hamm started his career with 2 water trucks, and the rest is history.
I made a big mistake with my first investment in CLR due to my lack of experience and emotions.
I bought CLR around $16 a share...I got emotional and sold a couple of buck$ higher.
After 2 or 3 years CLR went over $100 per share.
Oh well, hindsight is 20/20...but I learned a lot about trusting the research I did on CLR. Good luck to you pepeoil. :)
Awesome, my average is about 38. I love this sweet oiler
Bought CLR at $28...sold it at $53.
It will likely go up more...but I'm happy with what I got. :)
CLR Executive Chairman and Founder Harold Hamm...

It would seem logical that oil prices will rise due to Biden shutting down the XL Pipeline.
I hope you bought CLR when it dropped below $10?
I tried to tell you. :)
P.S. No diet ice cream for me...but thanx anyway.
Too bad you are unaware of CLR's history.
You should have bought it when it went way down...you'd have a 3 bagger at least.
"Continental Resources (CLR) Up 14% Since Last Earnings Report: Can It Continue?"
:)
You should have bought CLR when it went down.
You could of had a 3 bagger by now without the risks that penny stock carry.

"Hamm added $57.1 million of shares in Continental Resources Inc., where he’s executive chairman, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. The 3.44 million shares he purchased bring his total of direct and indirect shares to 288 million, or about 79% of the company."

See: coronavirus and oil feud.
Your ice cream doesn't factor into real world trading.
Not looking good for CLR

almost up to 50% of where it was a few weeks ago.
maybe you should celebrate with some ice cream
Not sure...
"The founder of Continental Resources Inc <CLR.N>, an ally of U.S. President Donald Trump, is pressing the U.S. commodity markets regulator and the exchange to probe whether market manipulation or system failure was behind this week's unprecedented plunge in U.S. crude futures."
"U.S. crude futures for May delivery plunged below zero on Monday, with desperate traders at one point paying customers some $40 a barrel to take oil so they would not have to accept delivery on an expiring futures contract. The coronavirus pandemic has slashed fuel demand worldwide, and storage space for the unused oil is rapidly filling, especially in the United States."

I hearing the banks could call the loans of some energy companies
could CLR be one of these energy companies because of debt load ???
JMHO
You're welcome to say anything...doesn't bother me.
You should try it on that other board.
Actually CLR is going back up.
Are you upset about your own stock?
of course you made 100%...that's why you were telling people to buy at $35, right????
of course you did!!!!!!!!!
I made 1000000%.
see how easy it is to say stuff?
great job!!!

its' going DOWN that's where it's going
look out below!!!!!!
Timberrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
hahahaa
Definitely lots more down from here!
agree 10000%
if I agreed 70%, that would be about how much most people have lost if they bought when certain members of the board were pumping this ticker
CLeaRly they blew that call....down almost 75% in just a month
ouch!!!
I would tell them to follow the news on the oil feud which WILL end.
Then see the history of CLR.
Oil isn't going anywhere...it's the life blood of the planet.
I made 100% on CLR last time and it went up and down for a long time.
Relax and buy some CLR.
Some are predicting oil in the single digits. CLR is already in the single digits.
NOT GOOD!
Looks like a big jump on low volume
I wouldn’t touch it
What if some of us bought at $28 when you told us so
What would you say to people that lost their entire investment (and not just 70 or 75%??)

Hey 99...better get in while you can. :)
March 5, 2020...
"Looking at the total insider shareholdings in a company can help to inform your view of whether they are well aligned with common shareholders. I reckon it’s a good sign if insiders own a significant number of shares in the company. Continental Resources insiders own about US$5.2b worth of shares (which is 79% of the company). I like to see this level of insider ownership, because it increases the chances that management are thinking about the best interests of shareholders."
Are you aware of the Russian/Saudi oil feud?
Maybe not.
The oil feud between the Russians and the Saudis is what's driving oil prices down.
It's effecting all oil companies.
Oil will bounce back when the feud is over.
Maybe you should consider buying CLR at these prices...world dependency is not going away anytime soon.
