The largest trade he's ever made was selling 20,650,000 units of Continental Resources stock on 18 May 2007 worth over $291,165,000
Why again did he need to sell more now?
sinking ship
hey, I've been under a rock the last few weeks...how is CLR doing? still up $8?
cool man
CEO bailed, leaves everyday joe's holding the bag.
this will not recover. get out now
Just my opinion
How old should Hamm be until he takes his life long earnings?
Do you follow the real world markets?
Hamm began liquidating for good reason
Take note!!!
Hahahahahahahhahaaaaaaaahahahaaa
That’s what you said at $28!!!!!
Remember?
Before it lost 75% of its value in a month?
Remember I told you so!!
It will rebound when the oil feud ends and COVID-19 virus is reigned in.
Yes...it may take a while, but that's what happens sometimes in the REAL stock market.
Don't be surprised if people start selling their penny stocks to take advantage of a huge pull back with real stocks.
This would be a perfect time to buy CLR or any other good oil company.
Maybe you should take advantage.
Are you familiar with the Russian/Saudi oil feud?
Along with the COVID-19 virus it's slamming world markets.
It won't last, and oil will recover because we can't live without oil, but we can live without ice cream.
I personally would NOT want to be in here with a cost basis in the upper $20's
still have a few months to go...I guess anything is possible.
This is CLeaRly not a good investment. I'd hate to have bought up around $28 just a couple of months ago. Yikes!!
last one out please turn off the oil lamp
OUCH! Strong buy 7 weeks ago at over $30?? really? now down what? 75%...
what were they thinking?
If true, look to scoop up some bargains here soon.

Mark Fisher tells me oil indicated to open below $32 a barrel tomorrow - a stunning $9.50 below where it closed on Friday. Sounds like it’s full on bananas in the oil markets...
Could be seeing some really low lows here...and I'm waiting for 'em.
Meanwhile, as Bloomberg correctly notes, "with demand being ravaged by the coronavirus outbreak, opening the taps like that would throw oil market into chaos."

The last time CLR was in this low area, it ran up smartly and for a long while.
This is another opportunity to get some cheap.
It’s “tanking” ha! Told you so. Do not invest here!!
It spiked to $40 after the Saudi infrastucture attack and came right back down days later.
Oil is the life-blood...not fake ice cream.
Blood red AGAIN
I bet the founder is happy he began aggressively liquidating a couple of months ago when this was close to $40/share
Down over 64% in a couple weeks!!! Who would promote this stock?!? Must be frustrating looking at that chart!!
Avoid this Doomed stock. Sell. Thank me later or I will have to say, “I Told You So.”
Both stocks in the toilet. Great analogy!!
Not upset about anything. I’m not invested in CLR which has dropped from $34.15 to $21.90 in just a few weeks
I’m surprised it’s held up as well as it has
And like CLR, the other company you mentioned has lost BILLIONS in market cap here in 2020
You sure can pick ‘em. Great example. What’s next? You’ll tell me you bought stock in the Hindenburg Corp??
Have a nice day
The same as CLR...
"Bob Iger is out as The Walt Disney Company CEO effective Tuesday, but he’ll remain as executive chairman of the company’s board through 2021."
Just like Harold Hamm at CLR.
Any other comments 99?
You're obviously upset about something. :)
It's common fpr penny stocks to get promoted by many people/so-called experts to help them sell stock.
The rules say I can't post other stocks here...even though the promoters here have posted many companies that NGTF will never equal.
"The Sleep Bracelet, which looks a lot like a watch without a face, contains a metal disc to harness these frequencies. “It picks up natural frequencies and channels them from the environment to our body for our personal benefit,” Stein said.
Dr. Michael Breus, a sleep specialist, did some early research on the bracelet and recommends it to his patients."
Maybe a voodoo doll would work too.
The media and TV shows are all cashing in on stuff that never makes it.
We still haven't seen any revenue/profit SEC filings.
I think they should try and get on RR show - it may help! Or better yet, they should sell energy to help in ice cream distribution!
Ouch. Hate to say I told you so.
Yes...earnings are down and not helpful to investors at this point.
Please post anything else you find...it's always good to be aware of the negatives. And I have been aware of recent volativity and lower earnings.
For some reason some people run from negatives...I do not.
Oil is volatile...always has been.
My last trade with CLR I gained 100% over 3 years. I bought lower this time which turned out to be the right choice.
Good luck to you.
"Legendary U.S. oilman Harold Hamm will step down as chief executive of Continental Resources and become its executive chairman, the company said on Wednesday. ... Hamm, who owns 77% of Continental, said in a statement on Wednesday that his “long history of buying, not selling” shares “will not change.”Dec 11, 2019"
No matter how many shares an insider buys or sells the % of held shares tells the story.
Current insider holdings...63.19% % of Shares Held by All Insider
Harold Hamm is no longer the CEO but still involved. He has other interests that could explain his desire for capital. In fact he does have other interests...try some research.
"Mr. Hamm also sold a lot of shares in 2007 and he lost a lot of gains as the stock went way up after that.
Harold has made over 29 trades of the Continental Resources stock since 2007, according to the Form 4 filled with the SEC. Most recently he sold 1,779,496 units of CLR stock worth $60,271,530 on 17 December 2019.
The largest trade he's ever made was selling 20,650,000 units of Continental Resources stock on 18 May 2007 worth over $291,165,000. On average, Harold trades about 599,158 units every 104 days since 2007. As of 17 December 2019 he still owns at least 1,742,131 units of Continental Resources stock."
Please warn investors if you think there is a risk here.
I can't speak for people I do not know.
But I've never been a stock promoter for CLR or any other stock.
Any criticism of CLR is welcome.
The positives will take care of themselves...it's the negatives that will bite you if you ignore them.
Please feel free to post all the negatives you want about CLR.
LOOK OUT BELOW!!!
CEO here quit on the company and sold off a BOATLOAD of stock in December
No wonder it’s headed for single digits fast!
I would NOT want to be caught holding this bag!!!!
Yes. With more bad news coming I’d suspect, IMO
Are you or anyone else on this board a paid stock promotor for CLR? Investors deserve to know!
This seems like hype - an effort to sell shares...
All unsuspecting investors should be warned about CLR. How can HH make this prediction in such a volatile market/company?!
Of course he does. Conflict of interest much?
He is the executive chairman of CLR, which is down about 36% year to date
Not looking good here. Not at all. Earnings call coming this week
Stock is in absolute freefall in advance of what many obviously expect to be absolutely terrible news
Could be trouble on horizon for shareholders??
