Here's another possibility : Pioneer Natural Resources is rumoured to be looking at smaller
natgas producer Range Resources, which means.... every other natgas producer is now
going to get the "Who's next?" treatment, including SWN. In fact, they'd be a perfect fit for
ExxonMobil, XOM has ca$h to burn, it needs more natgas in its "mix", and they wouldn't
even have to use ca$h, SWN has an "Enterprise Value" of just less than $11 billion with
1.1 Billion Shares, if XOM offered just $15 / share in XOM stock Southwestern's BoD would
have a tough time saying "No." and not getting every class-action securities law firm after them.
This Pioneer / Range rumour also confirms the bottom is in for natgas.

I think "The fix" is in; today is 2x the 10-day volume average and a nearly 10% price jump; natgas appears to have made its final low, as well; we shall see. With Freeport LNG coming back online, the paradigm has shifted, finally.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $2.95 billion, up from $779 million a year earlier.

A Tennessee representative tweeted about touring a hemp and CBD business.

Ohio regulators posted a draft resolution eliminating the medical cannabis tier system and setting a 90-day supply of plant material as nine ounces, regardless of THC percentage.

Alaska regulators will host working group meetings about marijuana products next month and in January.

Colorado regulators will host a work group meeting about changing marijuana business licensee designations on December 3.

Michigan regulators will hold a public meeting on marijuana issues on December 9.

The Tennessee Medical Cannabis Commission will meet on December 10.

This stock has huge potential and I believe it is completely undervalued I'm just a regular guy but I've been in this stock for a long time. This company is overlooked I believe. By no means a small company.. let her rip. I've been waiting it's coming. Southwestern Energy Company (SWN) engages in the exploration, development, and production of natural gas and crude oil in the United States. The company operates through two segments, Exploration and Production, and Midstream Services. The Company's exploration and production activities are concentrated in the Arkoma Basin, East Texas, the Permian Basin and the onshore Gulf Coast. It's wholly owned subsidiary, Arkansas Western Gas Company, referred to as Arkansas Western, operates integrated natural gas distribution systems in northern Arkansas. The Company provides marketing services in each of its core areas of operation through its gas-marketing subsidiary, Southwestern Energy Services Company.

Financially speaking, SWN has reflected considerable growth during the last five years. With a 5-year CAGR of 31% in its topline, not only was the company able to absorb the oil market crash of 2008 (with a minor dip in sales and a slightly red bottomline), its average annual profitability growth excess over revenue growth tells that it has also been able to generate better returns for its shareholders.

From an investment perspective, though the company appears as expensive based on its earnings comparison with its closest competitors like Chesapeake Energy Corporation (CHK) and Williams Companies Inc. (WMB), the justification of this premium lies in SWN's operational superiority over CHK and WMB.

During the last four quarters, in contrast to WMB's $ 525 million loss and CHK's net margin of 10%, SWN was able to come out with a towering net margin of 22% (2006-2010 net margin - excl. 2009: 22%).
