Novacab is pleased to announce that it is negotiating with two hotel chains for the purpose of installing its technology for energy savings-systems (TES-S). These hotel chains have over 10,000 hotels throughout the world under various banners. "The hotels will have a substantial energy savings. The prime example is the 3 Novacab (TES-S) systems that were installed at the IBM plant," says Michael L. Carty, Senior Vice-President. The IBM plant in Bromont, Quebec, saves $500,000 in electrical cost per year with Novacab's TES-S technology. The tests were validated by Hydro-Quebec. Novacab will analyse the requirements for the various sizes of the hotels and manufacture suitable state-of-the art units. The estimated cost per unit is $100,000.00 USD. This project would generate substantial revenues, for the first 100 hotels in excess of $ 10,000,000.00 USD over the next 5 years. Announces Plans for Distribution of Its Products CANDIAC, QC--(Marketwired - Apr 24, 2014) - Novacab International Inc. (OTC Pink: NVOB) (PINKSHEETS: NVOB)
Novacab announces to its shareholders that it is addressing the trucking sector in the USA and Canada with the penetration of the market of 458,000 trucks with sleeper cabs out of a fleet of 2,400,000 Class 8 trucks in the USA and Canada. This technology especially applies to 240,000 units used for refrigeration. Furthermore there are 125,000 new vehicles of Class 8 with sleeper cabins built every year in North America. Distribution of the Novacab product line is being done through a network of distributors: there are three types of Distributors: Class A Distributor: Dealers selling trucks, Class B Distributor: Transport companies handling their own fleet, Class C Distributor: Service Centers catering to all independent brokers needs for maintenance repairs. Stephane Bilodeau, president, adds, "We are in the process of entering into agreements with 10 Distributors in Canada and the USA. Our first US offices are preparing to open in California and Florida. In Canada, the penetration will be directed through our corporate offices in Candiac, Sorel and Sherbrooke." In the next 6 months, 10 Distributors will be operational followed by the goal of having 25 Distributors within 2 years. Our objective is to have the Distributors retrofit existing vehicles and provide for the installation of units within the market of 125,000 Class A trucks built each year. At an average unit cost of $ 10,000.00, Novacab's revenues shall attain new heights. This represents 4,850 units at a value of $ 10,000.00 USD per unit. For the first 12 months, $ 4,589,000.00 USD of sales for Novacab International Inc., This technology allows for the vehicles to maintain electrical power used for heating and refrigeration without the need to operate the engines or through the use of generators. This provides for a reduction in yearly fuel consumption between 6,000 and 8,000 litres per truck as well as a reduction of C02 and other gas emissions as well as prolong the engine's useful life between 200 000 km to 300 00 km. Currently 22 states in the USA and half of the Canadian provinces have recently passed legislation forbidding idling truck engines when stopped anywhere especially at truck stops. Novacab International Inc. Announces Pilot Project With Papineau Transport CANDIAC, QC--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2014) - Novacab International Inc. (OTC Pink: NVOB) (PINKSHEETS: NVOB) Novacab is pleased to announce, the Pilot Project with Papineau Transport International using the Novacab System. The fuel economy, using the Novacab System having been validated by Transport Canada, this specific Pilot project is monitored by a telemetric system. Papineau Transport International and immediate affiliates manages more than 100/175 combined Class 8 trucks just at one Hub. Following the positive results of the fuel economy with the use of the Novacab System, a proposal for the retrofitting addition of the Novacab system is to be elaborated. For the Papineau International Transport and immediate affiliates at this Hub, this represents a potential of $2,000,000 in retrofitting over the next 3 to 4 years. Once the results of the savings of the Papineau Transport trucks using the Novacab System have been tabulated, the information of the savings will be readily transmitted to all members of the Group, therefore increasing the potential of retrofitting to all the Group. Papineau is also a member of Transforce Group working with and/or supervising 20+ transport companies. The possibilities of retrofitting all trucks overseen by Transforce Group, 1,000 / 1,200 trucks, is also on a period of 3 to 4 years. Please note that for all their trucks 80 % travel to the United States. Papineau Transport International is also Environmentally Responsible following same guidelines implemented by the Transforce Group. Novacab International Opens US Regional Office SHERBROOKE, QC--(Marketwired - Jan 31, 2014) - Novacab International Inc. (OTC Pink: NVOB) Novacab is most pleased to announce the opening of its first US regional office in Palm Springs California. The newly appointed Regional Manager, John Higgins will be overseeing the structuring of the office as well as hiring of the required support team and sales force throughout the State of California. "We targeted California because of its strategic position to service long distance haulers across the Mexican border," states Stephane Bilodeau, president. He adds, "Our plant in Sherbrooke, Quebec, is 30 miles from the US Border and it will continue to cover the Tri-State area until our further expansion in this region next year." Prospective Dealer/ Distributors in California have already been identified and have shown interest in its technologies for the automotive part of our business catering to Class 8 with sleeper cabs and smaller delivery and service vehicles. Novacab's technology is most attractive for trucking firms as it runs silent, unlike generator driven systems. It emits zero pollution and does not use any power from the engines that propel the vehicles. Mr. Higgins is meeting with trucking companies whose equipment requires both refrigeration for produce and freezing capabilities. He is also gathering interest in the commercial and industrial segment of our business model with our Novanergy Technology to be implemented in hotels, hospitals, manufacturing plants etc. The savings in electrical consumption is primordial especially in areas where these expenses are an important part of operating costs. Novacab International Inc. Announces the Establishment of a Sales and Service Center
Novacab is pleased to announce the acquisition of an industrial building to be used for the installation and service of its products. The building is situated in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, Canada, approximately 38 miles from metropolitan Montreal. The site was chosen because it is situated on the heavily travelled truck route between Montreal and the US border. The cost of the acquisition of the real estate and equipment and new inventory is $1,400,000. For Novacab (Automotive applications), there are 150 units currently installed at an average unit price of $15,000.00. These units have been used for three years without problems and provide yearly fuel savings of up to $ 7,000.00. There is also a reduction of C02 emissions and other gases as well as a prolongation to the engine's life of an additional 200,000 miles. These outstanding results were monitored and validated by independent sources such as Transport Canada, in 2003; this system won the AQME Gala Enertia trophy in the category of Transport. The technology provides for the creation of electricity from the flow of heat in the cooling system of vehicles. This electricity is stored in a modular unit in the vehicle and will supply air conditioning and heating needs for 6 to 10 consecutive hours without running the engine. This technology is a natural solution for long distance trucks with sleeper cabs and it targets 500,000 Class 8 trucks with sleeper cabs out of a fleet of 2,400,000 Class 8 trucks in the USA and Canada. Furthermore there are 125,000 new Class 8 vehicles built every year in North America.
