-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wave Systems has partnered with leading drive manufacturers Fujitsu, Samsung Semiconductor, Seagate Technology and Toshiba to offer the easiest-to-use and most
secure self-encrypting drive (SED) solutions available. These industry-standard, OPAL compliant SEDs protect data where it lives — on the hard drive, by taking advantage of its
closed environment to isolate data storage for stronger protection.

Further, Wave’s support for leading Trusted Platform Module (TPM) vendors allows organizations to leverage the hardware root-of-trust in some 300 million installed TPMs
for both strong multi-factor user and machine authentication. Data security begins with knowing who and what are logged onto the network.

Wave’s EMBASSY® Security Center:
A client application that enables extended security features and provides local management for both SEDs and TPMs. Initialization, pre-boot access control and
password management are just a few of the features available. Since Security Center ships factory installed from leading PC vendors, small and medium businesses can easily add hardware-based encryption and authentication out of the box.

Enterprise Management:
For a distributed network of SEDs and TPMs, Wave’s EMBASSY® Remote Administration Server (ERAS) provides robust policy management of users, credentials and access rights from one central location. Through native integration with existing directory structures and policy distribution mechanisms, assigning users and policies can be performed within the directory framework - dramatically simplifying deployment.

Description:
Wave Systems Corp. will be providing a hands-on demonstration of its industry leading client and server solutions for self-encrypting drives and Trusted Platform Modules. The
TCG demonstration will cover centralized management of OPAL compliant self-encrypting drives including pre-boot access policies, password recovery and compliance reporting.Remote enablement, ownership and management of TPMs will also be highlighted.

The participant will experience:

• Enterprise SED initialization, management and advanced user authentication
• Drive password recovery
• TPM management through remote console

Wave Systems Corp. (http://www.wave.com ) is playing a significant role in the new paradigm of hardware security for esktop computers that uses hardware chips to better integrate security within the new software security structure that Microsoft is building in cooperation with the Hardware promoters in the TCG.

Wave's current utility software is for protecting keys. Wave has spent the last 15 years building designs for better hardware to protect applets. It will play a significant role over the next decade in improving global network security, evolving solutions to the center and the edge of the network. This will provide easier use of PKI, authentication, attestation, digital signing, password protection and a myriad of web services. These services cannot be developed without the interoperable trusted technologies combining hardware and software security which Wave Systems has been developing since 1988.

Wave Systems Corp. is building the infrastructure and services to enable the deployment and management of trusted computing platforms. The services and infrastructure are designed to be flexible and deliver solutions within the framework of such industry initiatives as the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) (http://www.trustedcomputinggroup.org ) and other security initiatives recently launched by Intel and Microsoft.

The TCG will develop and promote open industry standard specifications for trusted computing hardware building blocks and software interfaces across multiple platforms, including PC's, servers, PDA's, and digital phones. This will enable more secure data storage, online business practices, and online commerce transactions while protecting privacy and individual rights.
