heat pumps and air handling products, and chemical products worldwide. It offers air conditioning and heating products, such as geothermal and water source heat pumps, hydronic fan coils, air handlers, and other HVAC products used in commercial and residential new building construction, renovation of existing buildings, and replacement of existing systems. The climate control commercial products are used in various buildings, such as hotels, motels, office buildings, schools, universities, apartments, condominiums, hospitals, nursing homes, extended care facilities, industrial and high tech manufacturing facilities, food and chemical processing facilities, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The company also provides chemical products, such as
nitric acid; mixed nitrating acids; metallurgical grade anhydrous ammonia; sulfuric acid; and ammonium nitrate for the industrial applications, as well as offers anhydrous ammonia, fertilizer grade ammonium nitrate, urea ammonium nitrate, and ammonium nitrate ammonia solution for the agricultural applications; and industrial grade ammonium nitrate and solutions for the mining industry. In addition, it manufactures and sells industrial acids and other chemical products primarily to the polyurethane, paper, fibers, and electronics industries. Further, it offers concentrated nitric acid and mixed nitrating acids, and specialty products used in the manufacture of fibers, gaskets, fuel additives, ordnance, and other chemical products. The company sells its climate control products to mechanical contractors, original equipment manufacturers, and distributors; and agricultural products to farmers, ranchers, fertilizer dealers, and distributors. LSB Industries was founded in 1968 and is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
