Agreed... Seems interesting for sure... Might be time to jump back in?
Something seems to be going on...
It can be a really good thing to do sometimes:
https://www.fool.com/investing/general/2015/04/16/do-reverse-splits-ever-work.aspx
...It has worked out really well for some anyway.
It seems to me that if the owner of 3DX Industries may not have read the book "Profit First" by Mike Michalowicz yet. If not, it might be a good idea...
The book is very excellent. It explains why so many entrepreneurs are in the situation they currently find themselves in and... more importantly, how they can be profitable even if it seems like it's impossible.
I do not think there is a business owner who could not benefit from reading (or listening) to this.
The audio CDs are read and expanded upon by the author himself...
Very enjoyable and enlightening.
I do not think there is a better use of commute time than to give this a listen... if there isn't time available to read it.
PS: I got it from the library. I believe most libraries have access to WorldCat® Online Catalog so there really is no excuse not to get it and take action to improve business and make life better in my opinion.
PSS: I understand how difficult it can be for small manufacturers so I really hope this helps!
I understood your point... I'm wondering if you understood mine?
For one thing, I haven't heard about anything in the works... Have you?
And even if there were, it can actually turn out to be a good thing in certain instances...
Interestingly, two out of three of these stocks from this 2012 article are up quite impressively:
One company is in the entertainment business so to speak while the other is an entertaining beverage business... It doesn't really seem like a fair comparison to me.
It seems the reason the price is down on Helio might have more to do with the business strategy possibly causing it to have issues more than anything else...
Do we know if VoiceFlix has created any video ads for 3DX Industries?
...If so, does anybody know where they are posted?
Who knows... maybe he's busy checking into this:
https://www.wired.com/story/ideas-jason-pontin-3d-printing/
Interesting... Thanks for posting!
That's a good one! ...It gives a new meaning to "Metal Head"...
Yep... I thought it was over a year ago...
Thank you for your response confirming it...
It does make me wonder about the due diligence post in September that said:
Wouldn't that have been more than a year ago? ...
Agreed... Not asking what or even who... Simply asking about when?
Out of curiosity... About when do you believe this "death spiral" began?
I find it interesting that for all of the pessimism lately, the stock seems to be holding up fairly well at these levels...
It will be even more interesting to see what the future brings... For all we know, it might not be as dismal as some seem to think.
I see... Thank you for clearing that up...
I'd guess that might have been from a time before it seems they appear to have turned the corner... because I believe, if I'm not mistaken, the most recent things they seem to have been speaking about have been getting new machines, etc.
Seems like it might have been a pretty smart move...
Didn't the company reduce their debt by over $1 Million dollars last year?
Please provide links if any exist to verify these allegations.
This happens every day of the week in private companies to the best of my knowledge...
Competition = Proof of Concept
Being a public company, it's my understanding their financial statements available for anybody who wants to know what their profits or losses are...
(Unless I'm somehow mistaken, I believe I've actually seen them)
Unless you meant something else?
Good point! Thanks
Sometimes the cost of things are not always related to their size...
Smaller things can actually be much more expensive than larger ones at times.
I'm pretty sure everything must be printed "one at a time".
Was this stock ever at $1/share?
If it was... I think that would be pretty good for a "tiny" company.
According to the Wall Street Journal:
Key Stock Data
P/E Ratio (TTM) - 9.75 (04/20/18)
EPS (TTM) - $0.01
Market Cap - $3.65 M
Shares Outstanding - 43.46 M
Public Float - 13.46 M

If you are calling this "tiny"... I'm wondering what it would take to be considered "small"?
If I remember correctly, it's been postulated on this forum that Boeing might actually be one of the ones who does!
I guess sometimes the best of intentions can be thwarted when too busy...
Venture to guess what a good buy in price is going to be?
Not sure what you are referring to...
Compared to what?
My apologies if my answer was unclear...
If you are wondering if the two companies are in some sort of collaboration, the answer as far as I know would be no.
I was simply pointing out the potential of 3D print on demand, that's all...
That other company does not appear to be working with 3D metal printing so it might be opportunity to JV with a drop shipping company.
I'm confused... Are you saying they might not have any orders and instead be making all sorts of parts and warehousing them in case somebody wants to buy them?
...Or are you possibly saying they have a 3D printer that sits there doing nothing?
Didn't they say they were ordering more 3D printers? ... Or am I mistaken about that?
Maybe this might make the possibilities more clear:

Interesting possibilities here:

Agreed... DD trumps all... only problem is making sure everything that's relevant to the health and the near term (and longer term) price of the stocks is actually known and verifiable...
Thanks for that explanation... it definitely makes some sense to me. I do think it doesn't really seem spiteful as much as it seems to be calculated and manipulative in my opinion.
I must admit I've seen people appear to do as the old saying goes "cut their nose off to SPITE their face" ...but it still doesn't really make any sense to me.
