Thanks. That's what I've heard a few years ago from someone worried about country's currencies going south.
Would have to roll my retirement from a more narrow index selection to an IRA that allows many options.
Yes, that may start next year from a financial person I read about from a poster that said the massive global liquidity is driving this huge equities build up and it will be followed by late 2025 with hyperinflation. Question then is what should we own to protect our gains?
I've read information on an experienced financial person that said the markets right now are being driven by massive "global liquidity" and it should peak by late 2025, followed by hyperinflation. Sounds reasonable (the massive global liquidity pushing up equities, home prices, commodities, etc)
QQQ now through 470.76 50 dma (simple). Nasdaq, QQQ, S&P 500 all through and going higher.
Very exciting to see these developments being extremely close to "show time". I hope samples have been distributed to all interested parties to test and provide any final feedback before Ramp Up begins.

When Jensen speaks, markets listen!
Nice. 2nd White Candle?
Nasdaq through the 50 dma (exp). Great balls of fire! Nvidia CEO Jensen may have lite the fuse!
SPY already well through it's 50 dma (exp, and simple)
White candle forming?
jeunke,
I'm curious who is making these 8 x 200G transceivers? I thought the footprint, inability to mass commercial make in CMOS (TLNB or InPhosphate), as well as higher voltage levels did not make this technology feasible/commercial ready at this point, and that Lightwave was going to be the solution? Still wondering what Coherent's 1.6T samples are using. Thanks!
547's is the 50 dma. that may be the bounce point if there is support.
Dr. Lebby will present their reliability data on Monday, Sept 23rd at ECOC. Just 4 weeks away!

ECOC Mon Sept 23rd: 10:00 – 10:15 World class performance for 200Gbps PAM4 and 400Gbps PAM4 lanes from electro-optic polymer modulators
Michael Lebby, Lightwave Logic Inc
Electro-optic (EO) polymer modulators are a hot topic in the industry today as the industry strives to increase modulation speed while reducing optical network equipment power consumption, driven by G-AI needs to upgrade hypescaler datacenters. Polymer modulators are now showing world class performance for 200Gbps PAM4 lanes, with initial results at 400Gbps PAM4 lanes and headroom for 800Gbps lanes as polymers have significant bandwidth capability. This enables not only 4 channel by 200Gbps PAM4 lanes for 800Gbps pluggable transceivers today, but also 4 channel by 400Gbps PAM4 lanes for 1.6Tbps pluggable transceivers soon. Further, polymer modulators have the capability for 4 channel by 800Gbps PAM4 lanes for 3.2Tbps pluggable transceivers using 800G lanes as part of a technology roadmap plan. Recent world class EO polymers results include: 1) Clean PAM4 eye diagrams at 200Gbps with less than 1V drive voltage. 2)Super high bandwidth polymer based plasmonic devices that exceed 250GHz (EO S21 3dB) for 400Gbps PAM4 lane applications for 4 channel by 400Gbps PAM4 (1.6Tbps) pluggable transceivers. 3) Very low voltage drive of ~0.5V (which allows direct drive from ICs, DSPs etc., and potentially can eliminate driver chips) 4) Very small footprint and size, which allows simple integration with PICs to turbo-boost silicon photonics. Tiny optical engines are ideal for pluggable and onboard-optic transceiver form-factors. 5) Commercial silicon foundry 200mm wafers where EO polymers have been easily integrated using standard PDKs. The talk will discuss the latest world class results with commercial grade electro-optic polymer materials that are being licensed for device applications for datacom at 1310 and 1550nm. These devices are fabricated onto 200mm silicon commercial foundry wafers and perform to 200G lane specifications at drive voltages less than 1V (which supports the drive to lower power consumption). Packaged polymer modulators will show the latest reliability and lifetime performance for datacenter applications. Reliability and stability results will be presented to show the robustness of the technology platform with respect to thermal stability and photostability in testing on materials, packages, and boards. Plans for CSP (Chip Scale Packaging) for polymer PICs will be shown based on dielectric sealants such as Atomic Layer Deposition at temperatures suitable for organic, polymer material. The talk will also show how the performance of EO polymer modulators can extend to not only 800Gbps and 1.6Tbps transceivers, but also 3.2Tbps, 6.4Tbps and beyond using the natural bandwidth characteristics of Perkinamine® chromophore organic material family. With EO bandwidths that exceed 250GHz that have been demonstrated with Polariton, single line or lane data rates that exceed 800Gbps PAM4 possible which opens a path for multi-Tbps data rate pluggable transceiver designs that include 3.2Tbps and 6.4Tbps for an exciting technology roadmap using polymer materials.

Seems like someone is doing some quiet deliberate buying in the power hour now, after what appears to be a HUGE mention by the Coherent CEO that they have sent out 1.6T transceivers to their customers, and plan to ramp up in 2025!
Thank you so much jeunke for that transcript link! You may have brought the one key piece of news unknown to any Lightwave shareholders, which may actually be about first ever samples of a 1.6T transceiver, only possible by Lightwave's slot polymer modulator technology, and partner wafer production company, and also one of the largest transceiver companies dedicated to giving their customers (hyperscale DC's) what they need ASAP!
Made me very happy to see this "reveal" and I told my brother over the weekend I think Lightwave stock will start to move up in price after industry, investors and even fund managers understand what this means! And shorts too! 😅 🚀💥
KC, any thoughts on recent Coherent CEO mention on conference call about providing initial samples of 1.6T transceivers to customers? Says they want to ramp up in 2025.

Appears a few other companies like Ciena and others are also pursuing the 1.6T in the near term. Appreciate your thoughts, and if this is related to the same type of Data Center transceivers Lightwave Logic is trying to sell their polymer slot modulators into? Thanks!

Thank you very much theroc! Always appreciate your thoughts on the developments going on in this industry, and specifically as it relates to Lightwave and their EO polymers.
.........it is going to roll!! 🚀💫💥
We can only hope this is an early information technology advancement mention of what is coming soon between a very large transceiver company that is working with Lightwave Logic! The timing seems about right! Imagine, Coherent is leapfrogging from the 800G currently available at sub-performance levels compared to Lightwave's planned 800G, to now a 1.6T transceiver being released at an even earlier than expected date. That would be wild news if this is the case.
jeunke, thanks for that link. I noticed that Jim Anderson mentioned in his conference call that they "delivered initial samples of our 1.6T datacom transceivers, which we expect to begin ramping in calendar 2025." below. Any idea what type of configuration and product they are using to have already created a 1.6T datacom transceiver? For some reason, I though the industry wasn't yet at that level of transmission G scale just yet. Thanks for your thoughts.
Thanks jeunke. That sounds promising.....the EOP buzz being mentioned by a number of reputable transceiver companies in the field!
Has Coherent already disclosed what they are using for the 800G transceivers? It appears the 1.6T is more unknown. I'm not familiar with VCSEL. Can Lightwave's polymers be used within the VCSEL system? thanks!
S&P 500 5608 Wow, just wow
All respect to the Supermoon gravitational pull!
Wonder if there is any carry through tomorrow?
In fact, it is a "Supermoon....Blue Moon" happening this evening!

Thanks jeunke for your information and thoughts. I found a link to this event and panels below (assuming it is accurate). Appears Dr. Lebby is doing the CEO Panel, while Pozo is doing the second panel that Greag Bartlett is part of. Would this event in the beginning of October post-date any possible Lightwave deal news, or might that make more sense following the Malaga event?

Yes, loved it (wish I owned some back in May or June)! A nice multi-month squeeze up on multiple levels (tiers) based on bullish news.......but "turbo charged" by a large group of shorts! Looking forward to Lightwave's Tsunami wave as it builds, and crushes many shorts along the trip North.
LOL. Only issue is that this chart needs to be updated to today, Aug 15th, as we're near 100 points higher on the S&P500 above that downward megaphone upper line.

Quite an Olympic comeback, if it closes over 533, after being down 3% at the close on Monday.
All the Bloomberg talking heads are super bearish saying this doesn't make sense.
Seems all the Yen carry trade selling from tech stocks has diminished. Heard it was 75% completed
Nah, 3 tics is really nothing these days with the volatility of bonds. They already dropped (10 year) near 80 tics in one month! 4.47% down to 3.67% before recent rebound after Yen issue calmed.
Not sure if this is the results, but showed 30 year bond being around 4.3014% better than July
