Let AD purchase $50.mil at $.60 cents or 82.5 mil shares.... lowers outstanding shares to 330 mil ... let him buy another $50 mil and share count goes to 250 mil outstanding. With $200 mil In bank and $325 mil in inventory who might want to buy Amarin for say $2-3 bil or $10-12 dollars per share with net outlay of approx. $2.5 bil
Judge Du is central in this whole case of damaging Amarin..... Even if you believe she didn't understand the ramifications of her initial conclusions in the MARCH 2020 ruling, she had a chance to rectify said ruling in Marjac's new court case. She choose to continue knowing the fraudulent aspects that Hikma brought to the initial ruling and her subsequent 2nd ruling to stop our standing in the the case. She is totally complicit in the fraud to damage Amarin. The Appellant Court is another issue all together with rulings /rule 36.
who are the assigned appellate judges ?????
During the last two days the charts show numerus share spikes throughout the day of of trades that reflect volume over 5 mil shares traded , but the dailry chart shows 1.2- 1.8 mil ...... who is trading all these shares..... institutional ? or Denner ?
Obviously you do not believe in this stock reversing its downward trajectory ... Why post ????? you're buying long and shorting for pennies each trade hardly worth your time .... why not find other companies that present better opportunities ..... your valuable time could be put to better use.... Say goodbye now.
FLY
Again no facts to support anything you're saying........shorting against the box ???
Again there are no upswings in Amarin stock except last thurs/ fri end of month..... At best he is not the only shareholder shorting Amarin throughout the last 60 days. With the amount of shares sold he could have made no more than 5 mil.
In 14 days we will see how many shares he owns...... I don't believe his total will change much if at all.....
POST FACTS NOT ASSUMPTIONS .......
FLY....
Again, in what universe do you see Sarissa making tons of profit to lower their average purchase price of $4.35........
Shorting is a game in which share prices go down ..... You buy high , short the stock hoping for share price to drop..... then purchase at a lower hoping for the stock to go back up.... This is the game you have painted a picture of your windfall making profits during the last 5yrs....
Enter Sarissa purchasing 22 mil shares at around $100 mil. now you state they have shorted Amarin by pumping up the stock price and then shorting said stock reaping the windfall PROFITS since Amarin has gone from $2.15 to $1.30. Short shares are 23 mil as of 4-30-23. If Sarissa was total owner of all these shares the potential would be $19 mil....... in the last 30 days the stock has not gone up and down to provide multiple chances to short ... the share price went down 13 trading days in April with no significant upswings on the other 8 days by more than 2 cents.....
The trading of Amarin stock has gone down from 4.5 mil to 3.4 mil average per day..... the 6 mil plus days you refer to were bought at the highest prices of $1.35 to $2.00 in Feb.when the short totals were at 18 mil per monrh..... Shorting Amarin was highest 3 yrs ago with totals +50 mil shares.
Your chart reflecting yellow area of 55mil, at $.04 four cents produces $2.2 mil profit hardly a windfall..... your Chart and your statement only indicates that a short squeeze could occur down the road.....
WHY pump negative assumptions of how Sarissa is playing the Short market without any facts to back you up.....
Fly Fishing......
Your TA analysis is is so suspect......involvement has and remains 4-6% of outstanding shares.... a short squeeze is not going to happen......
Amarins shares traded daily has gone down from 4.5 mil to 3.4 mil....shares
In what universe do you see Sarissa making tons of profit on the share price going down from $2.15 to $ 1.30 ????? on lower daily trading ???? Remember this share price slide has been ongoing for the last 60 days with NO reasonable upswing in market prices ..... more like straight down.
You seem to always downgrade Amarin and shareholders....
Number sleven
Did Amarin file their pre briefs to the court today .... update to the Hikma lawsuit
Mr. Stockboy
Another poster with 15-20 posts coming to this board in February 2023...... wow 1 month and he wants certain board members removed... to all bozoo's on this board please leave so that real members can advance objectives that are positive..........
To this board over two hundred million ($200 mil ) was spent in locking up pricing for inventory and remains available. The thought process to fight the Generics was the intended objective, but Generics found other suppliers... Such as they are still suing AMARIN in hopes to crush us......
Pharmacydude,
What a complete fabrication you have posted. This has nothing to do with any stock account pertaining to sales of Amarin Stock from a brokerage account....You and GORGE SANTOS must be best friends.... When you lie enough times you believe them to be true..... remember when you stated we wouldn't here from you until APRIL
Pharmacydude,
Please answer.........
For or Against removal of PWO ???
For or Against adding 7 new board members ( How Many P) ????
Institutional shareholders will also do their due diligence pertaining to this upcoming vote... PERSONAL feelings have no place at this juncture ... This is business and must be reviewed as such.
mrmainstreet,
Understand your frustration, but voting 7 new board members only splits board 50/50 and KM holding Senior Position.... paying for 3 board members with no qualifications.... doesn't make Amarin Corp a better company and could cause potential downside problems selling the company.
Upcoming Vote....
Again make sure you vote with Blue Card .....
VOTE 1 Per Wold-Olson has to be removed ...... vote for removal
VOTE 2 No vote needed... can abstain
VOTE 3 Patricia Bonfiglio ........ vote against....... not qualified/ no experience
VOTE 4 Paul Cohen........ vote for.......... qualified/ med experience
VOTE 5 Mark DiPaolo....... vote for....... qualified
VOTE 6 Keith Horn.... vote against...... don't need yes man/ no experience
VOTE 7 Odysseas Kostas..... vote for... MD/experience
VOTE 8 Louis Sterling III..... vote against .......no experience of any real value
VOTE 9 Diane Sullivan..... vote for....... most qualified of all
Without Per Olson that would leave 7 existing boards members with KM holding Senior Position..... by adding 4 more board members Sarissa gets board voice and a new chairman will have to be interviewed and voted on. We still maintain and experienced BOD going forward.
CaptBeer,
Who do I contact to get blue voting cards.... I 've received white cards from to different entities today.
ggwpg
JT followed all business protocols .... He fought valiantly from the 1st Adcom debacle with the FDA....... He eat and slept Amarin for 9yrs. He loved everything concerning bringing Vascepa to market....... But "1" judge with her own agenda took everything away from him....He was lost for awhile, but handed down the reins to a new CEO. He was a bean counter (accountant) not a legal background.
Yes, our best course of action is to back Denner and I support that action to make sure that VASCEPA survives.....
If you only knew what you're talking about...................
ifso,
I also held many VVUS shares, but their were 4 companies approved for weight loss at that time and none exceeded 15% approval. The drugs didn't sell in the market place. Showing weight reduction would take more than a year on the drug..... Denner never had a chance...
Boardmembers:
Why not just screw FDA and GENERICS
Carl Overton

to Lisa
Lisa,
How about Amarin putting one (1 ) SUPER BOWL ad costing $3mil to change USA knowledge and scripts of brand Vascepa. Amarin has 1st amendment rights. Please excuse this language " screw FDA " they are supporting generics....
Ad: 20% CVD reduction ( IN VERY LARGE PRINT )
VASCEPA
Only FDA approved indication for CV events
( LIST ) 5pt mace stroke % reduction
angina%
cvd %
etc.
Contact your physician for a PA for Brand VASCEPA only.... no Generics or Lovasa.......
Take with and without Statin to achieve a 20% reduction cardiovascular events....
minimal side effects ....see adverse events page/postings ( keep this to one line, 5 seconds of commercial )
PUT UP GREAT MUSIC and Background Photo.
Who cares what FDA might or might not do..... FILE law suit against FDA if they try to stop Amarin from taking advantage of their 1st Amendment rights.... suit would take 2-3 yrs anyway and Amarin is telling the truth.....
Now that would be proactive...
Amarin I-Hub Board,
What can this board do to promote outcome of upcoming vote ?????
Take a page from EPADI's playbook........ We contacted Senators/Congressmen
On February 15 we will know all the institutional owners and possible shares. February 16 anyone you know on the list gets contacted .
You report it back to the board.... someone can volunteer to keep the list updated. try to find a way for 100% contact.
Canes,
You are right to some extent:
Amarin received approval for the Marine indication in 2012 ..... at the end of 2012 in December they entered a deal for $ 100 mil. from Pharmakon to support the commercial launch of Vascepa with the FDA SPA and Anchor indication approval geared to Reduce-It having 50% patient levels.
JZ had trouble with the FDA prior and after the 2013 FDA Commercial Committee Meeting and was blamed for the failure ( conjecture ). He stepped down and handed off the reins to JT. Yes JZ handled the Pharmakon loan during his tenure and probably dealt with early dealings with the Baker Bros. Amarins cash on hand yr. ending 2012 was $276 mil and at end of 2013 was $216 mil, but loans outstanding exceeded $100 MIL. JT the accountant guided Amarin forward.
JZ was not stunned when the FDA reneged on SPA/Anchor ..... the Commercial Committee Meetings approval vote ( 9-2 against ) in 2013 and meetings with the FDA set the stage for JZ stepping down. JZ was very loud and demanding with the FDA.
I believe you are confusing what I was stating that JT was decimated by Judge Du 's ruling.... was lost for a period and handed down the reins to KM.
Nuke,
Denners plan !!! remove POW (YES) ....... add 7 more board members ( you vote acccordingly ) then what ????? all his communications to date has been directed negativity of Amarins management...... wants to sell company immediately ????? He has not offered a plan or solution ( has he ) ?????? BUT lets give him full control.....
Invest83838,
Yes I make mistakes too....I'm not infallible by a long shot.....
I want Denner or 3-4 designees on the board, until we get a feeling of his plan and how he will keep shareholders informed. Can always add more board members.
invest83838,
You're right, JT was an accountant who found ways to keep Amarins survival in the market .... the Reduce-it results should have been a culmination of years of effort, but the FDA again betrayed Amarin by requesting another Advisory Committee Meeting 12-13-2019.
Approx. 3 months later Judge DU......... Non fun fact ..... JT was decimated by the decision and follow up Appellate Court stance supporting Judge Du. He tried to find ways to get Amarin profitable, but stepped down when he knew he wasn't the right person to handle EU ramp up.
Yes he made mistakes that he acknowledged internally, but he was all about Amarin being a success.
Canes,
Some posters just can't seem to back their posts with facts........JZ did not have the funds for the REDUCE-IT study in Amarins corporate account... In fact in 2013 Amarin was almost broke. JZ worked with the belief that the FDA would honor their SPA and ANCHOR approval which would fund Reduce-it. FDA's reneging caused Amarin to use is patents as security for loans and sales to forge ahead.....
Again, can all posters forget trashing Amarins management ...... come up with valid solutions going forward..... put postings on this board supported by facts and research....
johnhancoque,
Your 1st post was 10-14-2020 after Judge Du's but before Appellate court.....
Before then you always posted about Community Health Services..... do you really have any skin in the game ????
johnancoque,
What point...... fear mentality serves no purpose.......
By the way I have have been here for 13 years....... and as a EPADI board member.....
KM already has acknowledged that present inventory will take care of new sales in countries that finalize pricing.... $350-400 mil in inventory....
dogn
We need about 3 new board members with AD representation to see what direction he will promote and how he will communicate with shareholders ( that's us ). He can always move to add additional board members at a later date.
My statement to AMARIN pertaining to forest from trees was had to do with many other items I am discussing with them.
Johnancoque,
Your fear based postings truly fail to show support for Amarin achieving success.....
My line of communication with Amarin continues and has been ongoing for many years......
Pharmacydude also maintains a line of communication with Amarin and significant others like Dr. Mason, Dr. Bhatt, etc. His statement concerning Generic equivocal product and API supply is on target. Raf comes up with good questions continuously...
I just accused Amarin management of failing to see the forest because of the trees...
KM and management have made some good achievements ,but they lack business experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The BOD is supposed to give historical experience to drive the direction needed. Both North and Study are on target that a change in the BOD Chairman and up to 3 new board members is warranted....Lets seek a positive direction with open lines of communication with shareholders.
We need posters like Pharmacydude , North, Raf, etc. to keep this board informed.
Vascepa 01-01-2023 BCBS IN NEW YORK is Tier 2 with new PA's....... Generic is Tier 1 with new PA's
PS.
8. Did I forget to state that MK referenced that we have all the inventory to meet demands of sales in the EURPIAN market.
This board is always looking in the rear view mirror with 20/20 hindsight....... How about a PROACTIVE view going forward.....
1. Amarin deciding to sell a GV product might advance US sales against Generics ,but at what price... lower selling prices against our known advantage in API product costs = ? profits.
2. Amarin selling GV (Generic Vascepa ) to US market cannibalizes our pricing to bring European Countries aboard ...... look at GERMANY !!! now all other countries would want
US pricing.... same situation with China,Australia, etc.
3. Fixed doze combination in US (md2119)..... Generics sell 40% of US market already with Amarin having CV approval with FDA.... Generics simply sit back a few months to study selling results of fixed doze combination and come up with blister pack or some form of combination..... they then sell to pharmacies like what they are doing now .... who promotes fixed doze combination to the US market ???? not Amarin .... we lose sales to Generics (maybe 40% or 50% or 60%....
4. KM stated that they will explore Europian market first with fixed doze to see how acceptable it would be received and what sales will amount to.... smart choice, since we have exclusivity their and in the rest of the world.... That's when you explore avenues in the US market for exclusivity ....
5. KM believes sales will be generated more in the Virtual market than sales rep's could provide at a lower cost ( stated at JPM Conference )..... maybe eliminating pharmacies selling the product and setting up direct sales to consumers ( look at what Mark Cuban ) is initiating will be our avenue to proceed.... maybe building our own manufacturing facility could be a way to go....
6. Proactive ??????
7. Supporting, giving Denner 3 seats on the board and watching what he does and how he communicates with the Shareholders would give be most enlightening.......
Don't ever give Judge Du any leniency in her ruling.... she stated that FDA failed to review studies that were footnoted.... failed to follow Precedents established in previous cases.... made her own ridiculous weighing of secondary considerations....... etc.
Judge Du knew what she was doing and Amarin/legal defense had NO CHANCE in this debacle..... fully supported by US Appellate Court's rulings ( twice)....
Amarin got ROYALLY SCREWED.....
I believe that is the right approach in this situation.... review the facts and see if one or both sides keep us fully informed throughout the process....
Again I just picked up my 3 month subscription from Walgreens on 12-29-2022... I also am retired on Medicare... I have Excellus , Blue Cross Blue Shield basic Blue Essential plan.....
Under this plan I pay $84.00 per three month supply
Walgreens said no changes forth coming..... I live in upstate New YORK
Sell the 200 shares and be done with it....there must be another Biotech you can engage with...
Smartest statement you've made so far.... keep it up
Spending pointless time concerning KM's degree......

Spending more time like researching Pharmacies promoting GV and not BRAND would serve us so much more....Please try to make this board a place of fruitful discussion that benefits Amarin...
