I do not like the idea of creating a link between a public forum and a brokerage account. It makes me uneasy.

Even though it is stated that this is very secure, the fact is that it is another avenue for a thief to try to use... and it will be tried....and tried... and so on... not a good feeling.

In the meantime, it would be great to have the T-square moved to the "More Tools" drop-down... or someplace else out of sight.

That's all fine for someone that wants to try it or use it but, I don't use E*TRADE and don't plan to use it and will only use something "I" have researched and decided to try or use.
In fact, the more something is pushed on me, the more I will refuse it.
[Erwin] works for iHub and his comments (IMO) are not valid and it’s unprofessional to even say his comments are in any way valid on this issue.

The tab is nothing more than advertising gimmick which is iHubs prerogative and some people might bite and even like it but, I don’t trust anyone with my trading account information other than the people that work at my brokerage.
This third party trading account access has the potential for trouble (down the road), written all over it.

And, even if I did use E*TRADE and it was (supposedly) very secure (according to iHub) I would NEVER access my trading account through some other account/website, let alone, give someone else that capability.

I still don't get why anyone would want to log in through a 3rd party. It's not difficult to log in without one. If you want to use it "no problemo", But if not why must you be forced to view it.

I understand that some will like and use it. I just don't choose to. People who will never use it should be able to get rid of it. I like to see embedded video, so I would rater have the option of removing it from the screen.

Tabbed browsing is the way to go. This is a totally useless feature to me, which is fine, as long as you can close it. I just want to close it and not see it on my screen.

Ihub does not use https. Seems like a bad guy could get thru to the secured site thru Ihub's connection. Regardless, the use of tabbed browsing really negates this idea anyway IMO.

I personally think that the button is an upgrade, However.. If you know how to disable plug-ins for certain sites that will enhance your experience perhaps. I use Opera, many tabs and each tab can be customized... Downside.. You might not see all the videos embedded in a page.
