FM - That sounds like a good strategy. It sounds like you will do well. I'm going to keep going with my own system as I plan to take it to the next level at some point.
Someone ran the numbers, but I don't recall. Over 7% for December I think.
I am using tc. If they disagree, cash, else take the position. 2006 would have had a 1x return of 72% basis qqqq with a win%/loss% ratio of 7.5 to 1. 7.5% of gains for every 1% of loss. Merlin by itself was something like 107% with a 4.0 ratio.
Are you trading your IRA account? You could trade qld/qid at the open with it.
So far, it is pretty amazing. I am sold and I was the most skeptical one of the bunch.
It doesn't look like tc followed your lead to cash last month.
Hi FM - My focus is Intermediate-term. It looks like a good system, but I'm not so sure about the success of their EOD Profunds trading. Have they ran any numbers on how well they would do if they trade Profunds EOD?
Also, are you no longer using TC signals?
CJ,
Are you a Merlin guy too?
FM
Nice chart CJ. Thanks for posting.
Agree. We will probably see higher levels towards the end of 2007 and I think your target is most likely.
Beautiful chart.... I don't rely much on RSI, but maybe I should.
Nice delineation of the support levels. I think this market is in a medium-term correction, and $40 is very likely. We will see surges to the upside periodically of course, but I suspect before all is said and done, this correction might well revisit $38, which I think is another support level.
Also, note the longer-term support/resistance levels in the chart below. I suspect we will see the upper resistance (close to 2,000) tested perhaps by late 2007, or into 2008 sometime.
QQQQ's Major Support Points
If $42 breaks, $40 looks like the strongest support point of anything shown here.

Do you still follow CSGCOS?what are YTD returns?

Thanks Jakesan, FM, MVP. It was a fun ride. As with any trend following system that goes to Cash, it won't tell me what is in store for the next move (up/down). My wild guess right now is that if the SP500 weakens further, the Nasdaq will head down to the 50dema, get a temporary few days bounce, and then break below the 50dema... just enough to relieve the overbought pressure for the next move up. The SP500 still looks amazingly strong even today so it still may keep going up on vapors through the end of this month (this is very typical of December).
CJ is an early warning signal. There seems to be pretty good correlation between his signals and tc.
That wouldn't surprise me.
He is good. I wonder if timingcube will be right behind him like they were last time.
I have been watching your signature and your posts.
I am Really Impressed with your trades. and posts,
Good luck and keep on doing what your are doing.
Jakesan
Thanks CJ. You had a good run there.
I had the same problem, there was an mvp signal eod thurs.
Cash signal last Friday, 12/15/2006
My system gave a cash signal last Friday, but did not see it until yesterday since Stockcharts and Decisionpoint were both down due to storm. Executing at today's close.
That would be madness. So I Guess they probably will.

I am wondering if you happen to have a soft copy of EXCEL file for CSGCOS that was circulated throughout CS board back in April. If so, please forward it to me
davidxu_9@hotmail.com
I would like to update it to see 2006 YTD performance.
Thanks
re data sources. I've piled up a fair collection over the years. Glad to be of help if you need it.
I may be able to help out. Email me at ken.rubin@comcast.net (although I don't know how much I'll be online this weekend).
Ken
Hi, Free
I usually check the board a couple of times a day/night. Theres a few people who post there that I like to read.
Dan
Denmo
Liked your post #2106, that was a great laugh.
Dan
When I think of him the word 'integrity' does not come to mind. He has done more harm than anyone else I know of on ihub.
I don't go to his board anymore even for reading. It isn't worth my time. Maybe I should go there for some contrary advice. LOL
My original message was deleted. LOL. I think someone else sent me something but it was deleted too.
For a refresher, all I did to get banned from Poker's board was to suggest what several people already had, that the running totals were not accurate. Then he sent me a private message saying how "hurt" he was. Boo-hoo.
Goes to show that we are on the right track.
LOL!!! I can't top that post.
omandan...
I got bored playing with joker. If he was right once in a while, it would have kept the game more interesting.
The song remains the same. He couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat, yet he still jumps on the opportunity to point out what he perceives as a wrong call made by others.
And yes, at some point he will declare victory. He will spin the market as he called it correctly. Never mind how his account is depleted.

We talk I.T. stuff here.
Please keep the chatter down, the sense of humor up, show knowledge of the topic, and be ready to defend what you say, or we'll rip you to pieces (just kidding, maybe).
