Here's the bottom line IMO. Roche was careful not to mislead the public after filing Form 15 to relieve himself of mandatory ownership reporting requirements - Schedule 13G and Form 4 sells ceased to be filed.
The promoters misled the public, quite heavily I might add, to buy into the fairy tales as insiders liquidated their positions into the false narrative presented as an amazing opportunity.
Then all common shares were cancelled leaving the duped with the losses.
Roche could have easily absorbed those losses. The victims of the scam, no so much, obviously.
Sorry for your tribulations over this mess.
The only recourse is to file a complaint with the SEC and hope they investigate the matter.
Yeah I feel the same way. You’d think that large investors who deal with him would be paying attention to any and all of his business transactions but who knows. Morals dont play a part in big money so maybe his colleagues just see that he profited. What really surprises me is that he thought he would make more money doing what he did rather than merging a private company into the ticker. Unfortunately I think its totally dead and gone now. Etrade deleted my shares from my portfolio and counted them as a loss on that years taxes. So as far as I understand the process theres no more rvue at all
I am too surprised his reputation was tainted when the news got out on he handled RVUE. I even messaged him on Twitter regarding this. I realize I pushed the button to buy but I feel we were misled and even told him my investing was in order to invest in a company where I would experience profits so I could have leg surgery and be able to walk again. How can someone with a conscience & supposedly have a good reputation in the business world, know what he did to someone who is basically an invalid to some extent and not even care to reply. I kept praying somehow this ticker would turn around/get bought out or whatever it is people do with a "dead" ticker - - can this happen still? Please don't attack my post - I've already taken a major hit from this scam - just asking an honest question.
I agree it was one of the more unique penny stock situations and events.
Never really paid much tuck to Roche at all. I can't recall him ever making a statement as to what might be going on.
It was a travesty to see so many get lured into the false narrative.
Yeah I dont get it. It seems like a major problem for legitimate otc tickers is often fundraising, which obviously wasnt an issue with roche owning over 50%. So idk. Learned a few hard lessons though lol
Well that was the social media buzz line and shares certainly changed possession. Lots of shares.
With his resources I would think he could have arranged some type of merger or transition that resulted in more profit than shutting down the whole thing. But im not a billionaire so im just theorizing lol
I was here back then too I just still don’t see how he gained by closing it down. Honestly confused by it
I’m pretty surprised his reputation in the business world didnt take a hit from the rvue debacle. The way I see it there are only two ways to interpret the situation: either hes a billionaire who was incapable of completing a relatively simple reverse merger or he was running a scam the whole time. Neither is a very good option for someone in his position
Just curious as to others perceptions about what occurred here in reality.
The writing was on the wall when Form 15 was filed. Stories were concocted and shares liquidated to those who believed the stories.
Then all commons were cancelled as the company themselves said was going to happen.
Folks who were here remember what was what.
What do you mean specifically?
Got any theories?
This scam was devious. And roche just goes around acting like an upstanding businessman. Pathetic
Probably not too hard to find. He stole a bunch of money here. That’s for sure. Send him my wishes. Lol.
Anyone have an email address for Mr. Roche? Thank you
I think Roche did have the last laugh.
Remember the Alamo folks, so this does not happen to you again.
Well, it happened. But Roche didn't wipe himself out, he gave himself ample time to sell into the artificial hype about coming grandeur.
Retail got wiped out. Retail wiped themselves out, to a degree, by ignoring the obvious.
I hope folks remember how they got roped into this mess while the insiders dumped into the hype.
Weeeee looking good. Lol, I go to Jamaica and rvue disappears. Oh well, at least the drinks were unlimited. Haha
RVUE
Sorry RVUE, turns out form 15 was bad omen like I predicted.
Even though I bashed this stock I DON'T think any other posters intentionally mislead anyone to buy it.
We are all here to make money and sometimes we are right and sometimes we just get it wrong.
Nothing personal against any posters here best of luck and happy trading.
I hope people learned some valuable lessons here.
Don't hold ur breath buddy. Sadly, this is all done.
You might need to contact your broker, perhaps they can buy your entire position for a penny so you can claim the tax loss.
Consider it a NOL for retailers.....
Is this not a taxable loss? It doesn't affect my taxes in Etrade
No. Actually the opposite. They did exactly what they said they would do. That's the opposite of a scam
We all took a risk here hoping they wouldn't. Pretty straight forward
Good luck to you
$RVUE
Is this another reverse merger scam as well?
Yup. Sure was. And we know who promoted it.
Well, was this is a scam now? Nice due diligence.
Gloat. Lol. I tell the truth. And now everyone burnt knows EXACTLY who was conning who.
Yes. I brought up KEYO long ago. It was not an example that should have inspired anyone to buy into RVUE. It was a pie in the sky dream, improbable and, in the end, entirely incorrect.
It will stay as an example like a similar company that had fairly similar circumstances. KEYO. One small difference with KEYO that minority owner of the Lakers Dr Soon Shiong did was left the public shell trading for like a year after he dissolved Keyo Network operating company. He owned a number of healthcare cancer research companies named Nant Health, Nant Care, Nant Works and others similar. He then had some interviews stating he planned on taking some of his companies public. He never publicly stated anything about the KEYO shell for that purpose, but all while this KEYO shell was still trading and he was still the majority owner. Then a year later his business manager finalized the dissolution and cancellation of all equity.

Lesson.....Beware of Billionaires with a majority ownership in a penny stock! They are not looking out for you.
I actually own a significant position in another OTC, that an oil and gas Billionaire just became CEO of. Ugh.....Now I'm keeping a watchful eye on him for sure. Fortunately it's not being dissolved, that I'm aware of. Ugh....
Respond all you want to me Malc. Ultimately yes you were correct, but the company never once stated cancellation of Commons.
Dissolution....Yes of rVue inc,. I don't care how often you say you knew all along what was going to happen. If I were CEO you damn skippy my PR would have stated word for word cancellation of equity. Not saying that left room for interpretation that the Holding company may survive.
You can gloat all you want, but as I have stated I have seen in the past operating companies dissolve and public shells remain (happens a lot) and even be deregistered by the SEC. Only to come back to life 1 year later, and reincarnated as a new company. As I said I was a stockholder in the company that was deregistered.
Having the unique situation of Robert Roche and family buying 60% of the common equity led me to believe they had a plan beyond RVUE.
Preach and gloat all you want. I don't care, it was a risk I was willing to take. Fortunately my losses were only a small portion of my portfolio. I only hope my incorrect belief did not negatively impact anyone else.
Ok. I thought if there wasn't a ticker then no board or at least that's what I was told by admin
Boards don't get shut down.
This one will live on in INFAMY.
Yep. Was good to me a few times. I'm surprised Ihub hasn't shut this board down yet
The company concisely stated what they would do. Which is cancel out all commons.
They're NOT the reason why many people were led to the shearing pen.
Everybody done flew da coop here. RIP rvue.
If you want to question anyone.... question Robert W. Roche what his goal was here, and what his business reasoning was, and what were his benefits.....
I wouldn't question his family. Let alone any posts with his children. That is not cool.
Business is business. Personal is personal.
JMO
What nonsense. Nobody scammed you, least of all a four year old girl.
When a company tells shareholders something bad is about to happen, believe it.
And congrats on getting out before the noon day Doomsday, I guess......
I don't donate to scams or scammers. Fare well and see you around.
