This i recently found from a july issued USAF release summarizing their efforts thru current date. It remarks on minot AF base testing Cold weather properties on O2Diesel. In summary they state they did not meet their goals of 10% biofuels because of a decrease in use of B20. The reduction is because of converting from Low Sulfur Diesel to Ultra Low. So maybe their is still hope. Also the article on LS9 is an algae based fuel that has a 2013 commercialization date. So I still have hope. We need the DOD to contract with O2Diesel before it's too late.
Summary and Conclusions
In FY07, the USAF exceeded its EPAct AFV acquisition requirements and expects to exceed them again in
FY08 and FY09. The Air Force is working diligently in its efforts towards meeting EPA, DOE and DoD
regulations and mandates. Since 11 Sep 01 to the present the USAF operations tempo is continually
increasing making it more and more difficult to meet these mandates. Operations to support contingencies in
Iraq and Afghanistan and other global commitments have a direct effort on our efforts to meet EPAct and
E.O. mandates. Despite this difficult era, the Air Force remained committed to reducing our fossil fuel
consumption. Unfortunately, despite our aggressive AFV acquisitions and increased use of E85, we did not
achieve the required 10% increase in use of alternative fuels, largely due to the reduced consumption of B20.
Conversion from low sulfur diesel fuel to ultra low sulfur diesel fuel was the main reason for our decreased
B20 consumption. We are relying heavily on the Air Force Petroleum Office (AFPET) to continue its efforts
in obtaining alternative fuel infrastructure through DESC and we further expect they will work diligently at
improving the availability of quality alternative fuels at locations that already have alternative fuel
infrastructure in place. In any case, the current Global War on Terror and sustained security threat levels at
stateside Air Force bases continue to complicate our efforts towards moving more aggressively in meeting
EPAct and E.O. mandates. Complete USAF Report:

Well we have been waiting for this day to come. Will O2Diesel survive or is it doomed for bankruptcy? The filing shows us that she cannot survive any longer on it's small contracts. We need a big rush of monies to stay afloat. I have been most patient until now. Nothing seems to be able to complete their products unless a big fish, like the DOD supports it. Is there still hope that the usaf is completing a contract with us? It doesn't look good. Nothing from France. Nada from Brazil. The flammability issue seems to scare everyone away from commercial deployment. But there is nothing as clean as O2Diesel. Or is there.
http://cleantech.com/news/4724/ls9-clean-diesel-meets-us-brazil
It seems we need ethanol in our biodiesel to complete the product without adding other chemicals to attain the same effects. It almost seems there is no substitute. This company seems to be coming out of nowhere just as O2Diesel is bowing out. But it sounds like the same product, only a different company supplying it. They even state that they have been in business since 2005 but only announced recently? Sounds awfully fishy! Anyone have any ideas? Is it all moot?
Purdue University study concludes no difference in performance from ULSD and B20.
http://www.thebioenergysite.com/news/3866/biodiesel-blend-as-good-as-ultralow-sulfur-fuel
And O2Diesel has many advantages over standalone B20.
A very positive article written on the Abengoa website about e-diesel.
http://www.abengoabioenergy.es/sites/bioenergy/en/nuevas_tecnologias/proyectos/ediesel/index.html
It states e-diesel's very safe and reaffirms the emissions reductions.
Two large Universities conclude on the benefits of Ethanol on emissions reductions. Read this:

Goooo Otod!!!
I have not been able to find another company that has a tested biodiesel product like O2Diesel. They are the only stand alone biodiesel fuel that doesn't need any additives to make it work under all conditions. This related article says it all. States are looking to other alternatives because of the lack of biodiesel supply. Read to the last line.
http://domesticfuel.com/2009/06/02/pennsylvania-looks-to-stimulus-money-to-help-biofuels/
Does anyone know of another fuel like O2Diesel. Please write us here. Thank you.
LOL, I've been following this since late 2005, made money when Siegel pumped this. I'll be here again if Rae achieves his goals with the DoD.
Another interesting article expressing Obama's support for 1st generation ethanol and biodiesel. I especially like the comment that atificial barriers need to be taken down to support them.
http://www.thebioenergysite.com/news/3807/presidents-backing-for-ethanol-applauded
Go ethanol Gooooo OTOD!!
P.S. sorry to all those who could not wait long enough to benefit from the O2Diesel Empire.
OTOD at 3c? Took my significant tax loss here recently, watching for chance of reentry... of course my previous average was much higher than this current pps, lol. Interesing posts on goog finance board.
Seems to me that even biodiesel needs to be considered a more flammable fuel. So it would need to be more secure in it's storage tanks and facilities. Read the following article.
http://www.thebioenergysite.com/news/3774/biodiesel-safety-training-materials-go-nationwide
It would conclude that biodiesel is flammable and needs the same flame arrestors as O2Diesel!!
New CAFE standards is good for Biodiesel industry.
http://www.biodieselmagazine.com/article.jsp?article_id=3493
Which should be gooooood for OTOD.
Just an update from the previous message. It wasn't the energy team meeting today but an outside economic board of 16 members that met. Here is the article.
http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aUU58f15YfSk&refer=home
Sorry for the error. We will have to wait alittle longer for the release of the funds, due by month end. This is a great beginning though. I like also that the CEO of UBS was in on the meeting. They are O2Diesel's biggest shareholder. GOOOOOO OTOD!!!
Well the biofuels industry is definately heating up. UP being the key word. Obama's energy team led by Steven Chu and the heads of the other department's are meeting today to discuss matters. One matter that interests me, and should you, is the distribution of funds from the stimulus money. Today is a make or break for OTOD. If they are mentioned today as one of the recipient's of some monies for the retrofitting of the remaining civilian vehicles in the USAF. Money would be used to convert vehicles to use O2Diesel's O28 fuel. I see some strong buying activity and I believe it may be the best investment those buyer's ever make 161,000 shs. @ 0.025. Gooooooo OTOD!!!
Abengoa just gained access to an enzyme technology to help commercialize it's cellulosic ethanol. I hope this is the start of commercializing O2Diesel!
http://www.thebioenergysite.com/news/3720/dyadic-and-abengoa-sign-licence-agreement
Some serious buying this morning...257,360 shs traded so far. Gooo O2Diesel!
In case anybody was wondering if the new stories that corn ethanol was not sustainable or does it lower greenhouse gas emissions. Read this, out today.
http://www.thebioenergysite.com/news/3684/studies-show-corn-ethanols-environmental-benefits
It's all negative hype by the "other" technologies. Go ethanol Go OTOD.
I guess it's lost the 'e' because OTOD's gone to the pink sheets. But for the trading exchange, still pretty much the same co though.
Right that's what I'm saying: back to OTOD without any filing. The 'e' is to denote a filing delinquency, they didn't file because of the expense now the 'e' is gone and still no filing. Let's hope Mr Rae gets back to you.
As far as I can tell. It's been like that all day. Let's hope it's a good thing. I called the co. and she said I had to talk to Mr. Rae, she transferred me and I left a message on his v-mail. No reply as of yet. So no official answer as to what is going on .Have you seen any info on their report filings? I'm hoping they filed and they are being brought back onto AMEX. But why wouldn't they post that news. HMMMM! Time will tell. At least the old ticker you posted on here is back working..OTOD.
Is the 'e' off this? otcbb.com showing today's trading without the suffix.
Steven chu announced yesterday another $800M dollars.
http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/news/daily.cfm/hp_news_id=164
It's all about saving the current deployable technologies because 2nd and 3rd generations are years away from commerciability. O2Diesel is the only biodiesel fuel that is usable without modifications or additives. In order to start reducing imports of fossil fuels today we must start with first generation fuels. Sooo bring it!
Another interesting article from the IEA.
http://ethanolproducer.com/article.jsp?article_id=5631
First generation has to start this new era of fuel. Oh yeah that means O2Diesel!
Obama announced the forming of a group to oversee the implementation of ethanol and biodiesel plants financing.
http://www.alertnet.org/thenews/newsdesk/N04425672.htm
http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/feedarticle/8489478
The group is to make sure that established companies remain. Also to look into non-corn feedstock for the future. I hope he is considering O2Diesel in that group. One can only speculate at this popint, but I believe in OTODE.
KL Energy Corporation Announces Expansion Into Brazil
Second Generation Cellulosic Ethanol Leader Teams Up With add blue Ltda. to Expand Into Brazil, the World's 2nd Largest Ethanol Market
RAPID CITY, SD--(Marketwire - April 22, 2009) - KL Energy Corp. (OTCBB: KLEG) today announced that it has engaged in an exclusive cooperation agreement with add blue Ltda. KL Energy and add blue are now optimizing KL Energy's proprietary cellulosic ethanol technology for the use of sugarcane bagasse and straw feedstock. It is planned to build Brazil's cellulosic ethanol plant using KL's enzymatic process and completely integrated into a conventional mill with startup in 2010.
Brazil is the world's 2nd largest producer of ethanol and the domestic market is poised to experience a massive increase in demand as flex-fuel cars begin to dominate the national fleet. Presently, more than 360 mills are operating in Brazil, all of them generating huge amounts of sugarcane bagasse, an ideal feedstock for cellulosic ethanol production.
add blue will further offer ethanol plant process optimization services in cooperation with KL. add blue will be the first company in Brazil's sugarcane industry to apply the best process simulation tool in the business, Aspen Plus®. Supported by KL Energy's unmatched expertise in process optimization, add blue will offer to mill owners a unique opportunity to increase capacities, yields and profitability. add blue is in the process of successfully concluding its 1st full fledged process optimization project at a sugarcane mill in the State of São Paulo.
KL Energy CEO Steve Corcoran commented, "KL Energy had been looking for opportunities to enter the Brazilian ethanol market. Our agreement with add blue is the perfect fit to expand our business strategy as a global cellulosic ethanol technology provider."
Founder and Managing Partner Peter Gross of add blue stated, "Cellulosic ethanol has great market potential in Brazil and this is the ideal moment to introduce this technology. The cooperation with KL has begun extraordinary well in all areas: the joint optimization of KL Energy's enzymatic process for sugarcane mills, testing of bagasse feedstock in KL Energy's commercial scale facility, and Aspen Plus® powered process optimization."
Here is another story explaining the facts that ethanol had little to do with the spike up on food prices last year. Go ethanol Go O2Diesel.
http://www.thebioenergysite.com/news/3540/cbo-shows-ethanol-not-big-factor-in-food-prices
This just in. From the May 2009 edition of biodiesel magazine. Another story about the oxidation of stored biodiesel. NOT a problem for our O2Diesel. Do I have to keep researching or can we call it a sure thing. If you haven't bought this stock yet...you would be foolish not to buy it now at these prices. Don't say I didn't tell you later on.
http://www.biodieselmagazine.com/article.jsp?article_id=3409
Good luck to all! Go O2Diesel!!!
I would really like to see kind of update from the co... Any hint of news and I'll jump in. Still very tempting today:)
Yeah I did actually. Another 30K. It might be the best investment I ever make if this keeps going. It feels close and it feels right. If the DOD comes through with a sizable contract then other fleets will hop on board. I think it's the only thing holding us back. It's a shame that the government can't make quicker decisions than this but they have to test this stuff. Afterall they are playing with our money. Go O2diesel!!!
Looks good, almost makes me want to add more:)
Well Allright! Some excellent volume early on and movement on the s/p. 231K and last sale was @.028. My birthday wish is almost complete, we just need another $ 9.972 on th s/p and I'll be content. Well I'll take the 125% gain today and I'll go golfing. Here in NY it's going to hit 70 degrees. All this for little me. It doesn't take much anymore to make me happy. Have a great day!
Thanks, I hadn't read that before either.
Here is a statement taken from a DOD issued document dated October 2008. It specifically refers to O2Diesel and states how it is better than just Biodiesel. Read this.
Biodiesel life extension program (“O28 O2Diesel”). Military vehicles can experience mechanical problems when using standard biodiesel, as stagnant biodiesel develops microbial growth leading to contamination and degradation. The Air Force is completing a $5 million demonstration with an ethanol/bio-diesel fuel blend (7 percent ethanol/20 percent pure biodiesel), with tests conducted on numerous vehicles in a variety of different climates. The new blend (“O28 O2Diesel”) eliminates and prevents the contamination while reducing particulate matter emissions by up to 80 percent.
We know the rest, but I had never read this before. Very interesting and reassuring about O28!
Another article about the benefits of ethanol diesel lowering NOx emissions. Not sure of the date of this one but here it is.
http://cat.inist.fr/?aModele=afficheN&cpsidt=17935000
Some large known affiliated companies associated with this test.
Deere and Co.
University of Illinois
International Truck and Engine Corp.
It was concluded that ethanol could help lower NOx emissions and we all know who has the proprietary additive to bring ethanol and diesel together, O2Diesel.
Here is a more direct link for yesterdays attachment.
http://www.bioenergywiki.net/index.php/News
Another definitive reason to contract with O2Diesel.
Ye olde argument about biofuels causing nox emissions. Not an issue for O2Diesel. I know O28 reduces nox approximately 5-10%. It's better for the environment Too. From wiki yesterday.
http://www.bioenergywiki.net/index.php/April_2009
Some other news I should pass onto all interested is that O2D has found a cheaper conversion price to the flame arrestor. This would hopefully take hold with any company that has not installed due to the price. I would also like to add the 300M in stimulus that was appropriated partially to retrofitting vehicles for conversion to biodiesel. I would think the company is pushing the national fleet 's to acknowledge this and apply for monies deadline 4/30/09, Government decision for rewards in May 09, and monies expended starting in June 09 - Sept 09. I would also like to add that our CEO was optimistic about the Long Beach Port's conversion. There was news yesterday ie. cleaning up our ports to cleaner fuels. I believe it was Biodiesel Magazine. Although it seems instrumental that we receive a substantial DOD contract we do have other arena's in the works also. The stock price seems undervalued to say the least. Yesterday had nice volume up @ .03, 372K traded. Hope to see more today. Also note that Alan has not taken his paycheck since fall 2008.

O2Diesel Corp. (AMEX:OTD), is a pioneer in the commercial
development of a revolutionary new diesel fuel that delivers exceptional performance and environmental benefits for centrally-fueled fleets and diesel powered equipment of all kinds. The company's product, O2Diesel™, is an ethanol-diesel blend developed using the company's patented and proprietary fuel technology that substantially reduces harmful emissions without sacrificing power and performance. Extensive emissions laboratory and field tests in Europe, Brazil, Canada and the United States have proven the effectiveness of O2Diesel™. The introduction of this proven cost-effective, cleaner diesel fuel is now underway in North America, Brazil, Europe and other global markets.
Formerly known as AAE Technologies, Inc. (AAE), the company was founded in the United Kingdom in 1997 . The company was acquired by O2Diesel, Corp. in July, 2003 and is now based in Newark, Delaware and is publicly-traded on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX:OTD).
STRATEGIC PARTNERS
From the beginning the company has expanded its research, product development, production, and commercialization efforts through a network of strategic partnerships. These partnerships provide O2Diesel with the ability to advance the company's markets and technology beyond that which it could undertake alone. Partners include:
Abengoa Bioenergy (AbengoaBioenergy.com): In 2005 O2Diesel Corp. entered into a five year agreement with Abengoa Bioenergy R&D, Inc. an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Abengoa Bioenergy, S.A. to demonstrate and develop the commercial market for O2Diesel™ in Europe. Abengoa Bioenergy R&D is the largest individual shareholder in O2Diesel Corp. and Abengoa Bioenergy, S.A., is the largest producer of bioethanol for biofuels in Europe. 70% of the EU transportation fuels market is diesel fuel and with European Directive (2003/30/EC) seeking to replace 5.75% of fossil fuels with biofuels, both Abengoa and O2Diesel Corp. see a substantial opportunity for O2Diesel™ in this market.
Cognis Deutschland Gmbh (Cognis.com): This leading global specialty chemical manufacturer operates in industrial markets around the world. O2Diesel, Corp. has partnered with Cognis on research, development and manufacturing for the company's proprietary products.
