Thanks Schwinn, I appreciate it! Seriously, I believe how his company fares and what happens to it is his biggest driver in life. Not being able to afford the 10K fee must hurt a lot.
I was joking about the cream pies:) And hey after all's said and done, I've still got my shares, even now...
Gooooo Alan!
Well I just spoke to the CEO of O2Diesel , Alan Rae. He actually returned my call. I guess it was the threat of the cream pies that worked. He was as open about affairs as he could be. He expressed his frustration with the bureaucracy of the various governments, including the U.S. and India with there slow motion. He did mention some positive results in France and expected some positive news soon. Positive news is expected from the U.S. DOD, more from India and also France. He is as frustrated as I am as a shareholder but also as optimistic on the company as I am. I believe in O2Diesel and so should you!
Good to see your name in lights:) eom
Home address? I would have a couple of cream pies handily delivered to him... looks like he's 'successfully' transferring his co's asset to kleg.
SECTION 8 — OTHER EVENTS
Item 8.01. Other Events
The Company will be unable to file its Form 10-K with the Securities and Exchange Commission on or before March 31, 2009, the deadline established under the Rules and Regulations (Rules) of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). As a result of the Company’s current liquidity position it has determined that committing to pay the amount necessary to complete the required financial statement audit would not be fiscally responsible.
The inability of the Company to complete the audit within the time requirements set forth in the SEC Rules means the Company will not be in compliance with the periodic reporting requirements applicable to it under the SEC Rules. The Company’s failure to maintain compliance with its public reporting requirements will subject it to being delisted form the Over the Counter Bulletin Board and such action could adversely affect the price of the common stock and the ability of stockholders to trade the common stock.
O.K. 10:39 am and still no word from the co regarding the repayment of the loan? Or for that matter...no news at all! This DOD contract is either the best guarded secret or there is no news to report. Does anyone know if the co or the DOD has applied for any of the funds to retrofit the vehicles for the transition to O2Diesel? This may not be news until May/June 2009 but the applications should be news already. Or at least that they are able to pay back the loan with funds from some sort. Does anybody have Alan's home address?
Tomorrow...
KLEG 10K
In October, 2008, we loaned $250,000 to O2D (“O2D Loan”) for O2D’s working capital purposes. The O2D Loan has an annual interest rate of 10%, with additional lending of up to $1,000,000 at our sole discretion. The interest rate will increase to 12% in any period in which there is a continuing default. The O2D Loan matures on March 31, 2009 and interest accruing on the loan will be paid on the maturity date. We have the option of converting the outstanding loan obligation into shares of common stock of O2D at a conversion rate equal to the price of the O2D’s stock on the maturity date. If O2D fails to pay the loan on the maturity date, O2D will pay us an indemnification fee equal to 20% of the maximum principal amount outstanding during the term of the O2D Loan. As security for the loan, O2D has provided us with a security interest in its intellectual property relating to the oxygenating of diesel fuel, including its proprietary fuel additive, O2Diesel™. The O2D Loan and related note also contain customary events of default. There are no financial covenants related to this loan. The Company does not intend to make any additional loans to O2D and due to the financial condition of O2D, the Company has reserved for the entire amount of the note receivable.
O2 Diesel Agreements (KLEG 10K)
We have a Supply and Distribution Agreement with O2Diesel Corporation (“O2D”), a publically traded company (AMEX: OTD), pursuant to which we will jointly develop the market for O2Diesel™ in the United States and Canada during a three year period. O2D is a commercial developer of cleaner-burning diesel fuel alternatives, including O2Diesel™, an ethanol-diesel additive. As part of the Supply Agreement, we will be the exclusive distributor of O2Diesel™ within this designated territory. Within this territory, O2D is prohibited from distributing its own or any third party diesel additive and we are prohibited from purchasing any product competitive with O2Diesel™. We are required to purchase a minimum volume of O2Diesel™ as specified in this agreement. In the event that we do not purchase the required amount in any given year, we must pay O2D 75% of the applicable price for the number of gallons below the annual target. Any late payments will accrue a 2% interest charge.
KLEG 10K is available at www.otcbb.com for those interested in finding clues as to what Al is planning for his OTOD shareholders...
Someone is still buying this... OTOD is getting the volume but KLEG just got some financing... still no q report though.
It looked to me like someone was serious about buying but with almost 1 million shares traded should have pushed the price above .03? Not too sure what to call it. Hopeful that its the beginning of something bigger. Would like to hear from the co. now about us petitioning for some of the new stimulus money from Obama. There is grant money being bid on right now for biodiesel. Some pertains to retrofitting vehicles for conversion to biofuel. This is exactly what O2Diesel needs to jumpstart the contract with the USAF. That is if it's still being considered with the flammability issue.
??? up to 3c with 915k shares today. What's happening?
Lol, thanks:) Why don't you snap it up?? I had it for a long time. Felt like I needed a break from it.
IMO this co has taken its shareholders for granted... while the pps has languished for the longest time - with scant communication from management.
This just in. Biodiesel moving forward. Obama's energy staff is getting ready to announce specifics on biodiesel and ethanol.

Nice to hear from you Hangten. You know there is a moderator position open here at O2Diesel if U R interested?
You know why I posted it - Al Rae is on their bod.
KL Energy Corporation Announces $4 Million Reinvestment
Second Generation Cellulosic Ethanol Leader and Biofuel Developer Receives Fresh Capital Infusion From Original and New Investments Groups
Mar 06, 2009 08:45 ET
RAPID CITY, SD--(Marketwire - March 6, 2009) - KL Energy Corp. (OTCBB: KLEG) today announced that it has received $4 million of additional capital. The funds will further strengthen the company's position as a leader in the commercialization of second generation cellulose based ethanol (CBE). The funding round was led by previous investors Niton Capital and The Green Fund, who together originally invested $6.1 million in October 2008, and Warcoing Sucre S.A and Pierre de Boeck.
The new funds bring the total invested in KL Energy Corp. common stock since October last year to $10.1 million, and will be devoted to optimizing the company's proprietary processes at the Company's commercial scale second generation CBE plant in Upton, Wyoming. The Upton plant, designed and built by KL Energy was, and to the company's knowledge still is, the first commercial scale CBE plant to open the USA, and has been in operation since January 2008 using wood waste as a feedstock. KL Energy continues to work on CBE as an alternative energy source, developing processes that utilize waste and biomass materials as an alternative to traditional food sourced grain and sugar based for the production of fuel ethanol.
In addition, KL Energy has appointed Steve Corcoran to serve as the Company's Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Corcoran previously served as the Company's Vice President of Operations overseeing management of daily operations. Mr. Corcoran's principle areas of experience are project management, logistics, business development, and continuous process improvement. He developed feasibility studies and business plans for several ethanol projects and served as on-site Coordinator and Project Manager. Prior to joining KL Energy Corp., he served as Program Manager and Senior Analyst for the US Government. Mr. Corcoran also served 20 years in the U.S. Army in a variety of executive positions and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He holds a Masters Degree in Business from Central Michigan University.
CEO Steve Corcoran commented, "In spite of the current economic environment we were able to secure additional capital to continue our growth initiatives. This capital infusion is verification that KL Energy Corp. is positioned to be at the forefront of commercializing second generation cellulosic ethanol production. While some are looking to build demonstration plants, we are on the way to building our next commercial facility. The investors also bring to KLE a substantial international network, and we are already benefiting from their relations as potential projects in South America, Europe and Scandinavia have requested proposals for our technology. I personally am very pleased to have been entrusted with the Chief Executive's position and will work diligently with the committed and innovative team we have at KL Energy Corp. to ensure that we lead the push for cellulosic ethanol as a viable energy alternative to conventional carbon based fuels."
About KL Energy Corp.
KL Energy Corp. (OTCBB: KLEG) is a leader in second generation cellulosic ethanol production, a hugely anticipated global opportunity for energy production from waste materials and biomass, through their advanced engineering skills and knowledge in petrochemical process design. Besides cellulose based ethanol production, KLE provides design-build operations services for biofuels facilities with an emphasis on efficient construction, process optimization, and industry leading energy-efficiencies along with ethanol marketing services. I called Mark McPartland a few days ago, said he hasn't been 'with the co' for a while; that they still had a few weeks to file a 10Q.
At this rate we're approaching a year anniversary since the last pr...
Oh well someone just unloaded 700K shares to cut the share price in half. it doesn't look good for the long time investors. The ethanol biodiesel product doesn't look good for some reason. We may never know what that was. But it doesn't seem good at all. I quess it's flammability? But it would seem any product/additive to biodiesel would have some negative affect on the product but ours seems unmanageable. What is the short term answer then? I guess no ethanol just biodiesel. So it's back to the drawing board for the next biodiesel stock to grab up the attention here in America? Who is it gonna be? I would go jump off my roof but I'm only one story and that's probably not enought to kill me. I guess we just wait around for the Bankruptcy news? I wonder where Alan Rae is working? Probably hooked up with the new Biodiesel co when he made that Bankruptcy comment back in December. Good for you Alan!
nothing yet. eom
I'll be nervous if it's not available by the end of the day. They've been very consistent releasing these between the 14th and 16th for the last few years.
Expecting the Q report out in the next couple weeks, probably the one clue as to what's happening with O2Diesel.
That is of course if O2Diesel can make their soybean oil from non irrigated soybean growth. Another article I was reading was the bill proposed to allow a chemically enhanced crop made for fuel purposes only and not from ordinary crops made to eat. One side was arguing that both crops could get mixed together and cause harm to whoever ate them. But that would have to be hashed out. But I don't see the problem. It should be solved by now?
O.K. It's me again with another link to an article about water usage for the various renewable fuels. Biodiesel has virtually no water usage compared to all other renewable sources, including electric cars and of course hydrogen. BIODIESEL is the future. It's just a matter of which companies will supply the biodiesel. If water is not an issue with all biodiesel then this greenline compny is just blowing smoke about it's waterless technology. Bottom line here is biodiesel is dirty and needs to be cleaned to run in cold weather and O2Diesel has already brought that into their product. Call your grandparents and tell them to bet their pension money on this one. $100/sh in two years time. Can anybody get an e-mail to Steven Chu to make sure O2Diesel doesn't get left out of this stimulus bill?
P.S. don't really get your grandparents involved.....you'll be wealthy enough to take care of them soon.
Eschwinn.
http://cleantech.com/news/3742/water-usage-missing-alternative-fuel-factor
I sure hope so!! eom
It could be, but I don't see anything about reducing harmful emissions. I think O2diesel helps to avoid gelling and reduces emissions. O2diesel has it all.
Could be a tough competitor...
www.greenlineindustries.com
"Greenline has perfected an efficient, cost-effective, clean and waterless modular biodiesel production platform for small- to mid-scale production applications. Greenline's core processing technology has been used in five German biodiesel production facilities built as early as 2001. Greenline is one of only a few companies that have successfully built and installed high-capacity, waterless wash biodiesel production facilities that have reliably and consistently produced biodiesel that meets stringent U.S. and European quality specifications. "
A private company.
Thanks, so the other co is Greenline Industries. It would be interesting to see what depth and level of associations they have. That is in regard to the amount of production they can achieve, eg OTOD's Abengoa and Cognis. (Of course, if they are still associating with o2diesel...)
thanks that would be worth a read! eom
Here is that link to Biodiesel Magazine. Very interesting. Will the USAF and other fleet's go with O2Diesel or this other company.
http://www.biodieselmagazine.com/article.jsp?article_id=3201
Most likely an insider trade from one of the exec's or board members. There should be an sec filing soon stated same. Otherwise it was a trade that went off late and wasn't posted till after 4 PM. At any rate it is awesome. Someone likes the stock and that's 90% of it. I talk this thing up alot, but it's all factual information. It's our destiny either way, there is no backing out now! I believe some pertinent news is imminent. O2Diesel has an awesome technology. Now we have the goverment backing biodiesel...so it's just a matter of time. I think it shows that ordinary biodiesel needs to be cold soaked to clean up product so it doesn't freeze in low temperatures. O2Diesel already thought of this and it's included with the product. New company wants $400 K for it's technology and the machine to cold soak the fuel before distribution. Just go with OTOD for a few pennies a gallon. I have a link for this article, I'll write back.
150K trade at 4:02pm at 3c ASK, not visible on regular hours screen. Only $4500 or so but still notable considering apparently there's no news worth releasing since Apr last year...
Interesting, I can see biofuels for vehicles (biodiesel) but jets?! hmm I might plonk some more in this soon.
Hey Hey Hey a NEW link. USAF to stop CTL project and concentrate on biofuels.
http://biofuelsdigest.com/blog2/2009/02/02/air-force-drops-coal-to-liquid-fuel-plant-project-attention-turns-to-biofuels/
Everything is positioned for a contract with OTOD.
No I think KL will only distribute the fuel from O2Diesel to it's customers. We would pay them for transportation. They are currently marketing O2Diesel for distribution. KL is trying to explore new avenues for us. That's what I read anyway.
8K from last year, the bold below may be a spoke in the wheel. O2Diesel and Kl Energy are pretty tangled, would like to know what the story/plan is... Are they saying that actually KL has the rights to sell 028 in USA?? (This question has been nagging me lately.)
On October 9, 2008, O2Diesel Corporation (the “Company”) entered into a term loan agreement (the “Agreement”) with KL Energy Corporation (“KL”) to provide up to $1.0 million in funding for working capital. In addition, the Company signed a Supply and Distribution Agreement (the “Supply Agreement”) with KL to develop the commercial market in the United States and Canada for O2Diesel™, the Company’s cleaner burning ethanol diesel fuel blend.
The Agreement provides an initial loan of $250,000 in the form of a secured promissory note (the “Note”) at an annual interest rate of 10%, with the interest rate increasing to 12% in any period in which there is a default. Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, the Company may make additional draws upon the delivery of written requests to KL specifying the amount and use of the funds. The Agreement matures on March 31, 2009 (“Maturity Date”). Interest accruing on the loan will be paid on the Maturity Date. On the Maturity Date, KL has the option of converting the outstanding loan obligation into shares of common stock of the Company at a conversion rate equal to the price of the Company’s stock on the Maturity Date. If the Company fails to pay the loan on the Maturity Date, the Company will pay KL an indemnification fee equal to 20% of the maximum principal amount outstanding during the term of the Agreement. As security for the loan, the Company has provided a senior security interest to the Company’s intellectual property. The Agreement and Note also contain customary events of default. There are no financial covenants related to this loan.
The parties also entered into a Supply Agreement, in which KL and the Company will jointly develop the market for O2Diesel™ in the United States and Canada during a three year period. As part of the Supply Agreement, KL will be the exclusive distributor of O2Diesel™ within the territory.
Thanks for those reads eschwinn... Honestly would love to know what the holdup is...
Well I'm back, again, with some more positive news for OTOD. It seems back in fall 2008 O2Diesel made a new contract with the Seattle based Railroad for it's fuel. This is the first I'm reading about this. I remember them mentioning the Long Beach Ports, but not a railroad.
http://www.fasterfreightcleanerair.com/pdfs/Presentations/FFCAPNW2008/Alan%20Hardy%20Presentation.pdf
What keeps these trials from going into long-term contracts? Is it conversion costs or the incresed costs for the fuel alone? I don't know but OBAMA better do something quick! This technology is ahead of it's time. Asia seems to know that, but will only do business through Energenics. We are both American, there is no excuse. Pay up!!!
Well if this doesn't say it all!!!!! Check out this story. The biodiesel that these buses are using are stalling because of the cold weather. Not a problem if using O28. O2Diesel seems to have thought of everything, I don't see the holdup.
http://greeninc.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/01/23/biodiesel-congeals-school-buses-stall/
If we don't put O2Diesel on a national production scale...then we are IDIOTS. What is the holdup. What's the problem. We can't trust these smaller companies that make it in their garages. We can't wait for another co. to do what we have already done. Algae is too far out, 3 yrs. So, If it's going to be a small percentage of expense then the Government needs to step it up. I think OBAMA's plan funds the conversion of the pumps....So release the news O2Diesel is our biodiesel future...$20/share by 2010.
Yes it is. It's even better to see an ask of .037...then .37...then 3.7...then 37.00...then I'm out!
Good to see a bid of .034 Changed my alias, you can still call me Ant though:)
Steven chu is the man!!! under OBAMA, of course.

This stock will make us wealthy.
Hey Anthony did you change your name?
Obama Administration and Biofuels
http://www.bioenergywiki.net/index.php/The_Obama_Administration_and_biofuels
Schwinn, that's a really good find! Thanks, I didn't realize Obama was an ally of biodiesel etc. Makes sense though, right?
This wiki page has enormous links and onfo on biodiesel, Obama etc... It's all good! Go OTOD, soon to be OTD, again!
http://www.bioenergywiki.net/index.php/The_Obama_Administration_and_biofuels
I was just reading a very encouraging article. It is a wiki page on Bioenergy that sums up the current politics from several articles and facts. Especially interesting is that Illinois, OBAMA'S home, is one of the largest corn and soybean producing states. Also, that OBAMA is still set on producing ethanol from these crops. This stock is gonna make us wealth, not just rich. OTOD $10.00/sh in 60 days!!!
http://www.bioenergywiki.net/index.php/The_Obama_Administration_and_biofuels
That's good you're helping me be +ve here. For me the most exciting things now are seeing rsi and slow sto at the highest in months, lol. You bring up a good point about flammability, that must be why they are doing storage tests.
O.K. I like hearing that the second time also. Thanks. I am optimistic on this stock. I believe once the DOD commits to it's use then we are home free. One negative that the product brings is it's more flammable than fossil diesel. 100% biodiesel does not bring in the Flammability issue but is the product as efficient and clean burning, etc... as O2Diesel. Every commercial grade biodiesel fuel seems to have some special additive like our O28, but does it result in a more flammable product. Is this such a bad thing anyway? According to O2Diesel it puts the fuel about half way between Regular diesel and gasoline. So storage would have to be more secure. I would hope that the USAF isn't smoking around the old diesel storage tanks, either way. So I don't see a problem only a negotiating tool. But is it a good one for O2Diesel? I am ready for the answer...bring on the 120 MG/Y contract! Hurry let's suprise Obama.
"It is expected that this third test will be the final field demonstration required by the Air Force in order to implement a formal purchasing specification. During the fourth quarter of 2008, the Company began discussions with key Air Staff members of the Department of the Air Force to identify the next steps required to be able to make O28 available to the Air Force on a widespread basis. As additional support for these efforts, we are focused on conducting storage stability tests for our fuel as well as reviewing the training and procedures that will be required for a larger scale implementation of O2Diesel™ and O28 on additional DoD installations."

What's that excerpt you're quoting from the last 10-Q?

O2Diesel Corp. (AMEX:OTD), is a pioneer in the commercial
development of a revolutionary new diesel fuel that delivers exceptional performance and environmental benefits for centrally-fueled fleets and diesel powered equipment of all kinds. The company's product, O2Diesel™, is an ethanol-diesel blend developed using the company's patented and proprietary fuel technology that substantially reduces harmful emissions without sacrificing power and performance. Extensive emissions laboratory and field tests in Europe, Brazil, Canada and the United States have proven the effectiveness of O2Diesel™. The introduction of this proven cost-effective, cleaner diesel fuel is now underway in North America, Brazil, Europe and other global markets.
Formerly known as AAE Technologies, Inc. (AAE), the company was founded in the United Kingdom in 1997 . The company was acquired by O2Diesel, Corp. in July, 2003 and is now based in Newark, Delaware and is publicly-traded on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX:OTD).
STRATEGIC PARTNERS
From the beginning the company has expanded its research, product development, production, and commercialization efforts through a network of strategic partnerships. These partnerships provide O2Diesel with the ability to advance the company's markets and technology beyond that which it could undertake alone. Partners include:
Abengoa Bioenergy (AbengoaBioenergy.com): In 2005 O2Diesel Corp. entered into a five year agreement with Abengoa Bioenergy R&D, Inc. an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Abengoa Bioenergy, S.A. to demonstrate and develop the commercial market for O2Diesel™ in Europe. Abengoa Bioenergy R&D is the largest individual shareholder in O2Diesel Corp. and Abengoa Bioenergy, S.A., is the largest producer of bioethanol for biofuels in Europe. 70% of the EU transportation fuels market is diesel fuel and with European Directive (2003/30/EC) seeking to replace 5.75% of fossil fuels with biofuels, both Abengoa and O2Diesel Corp. see a substantial opportunity for O2Diesel™ in this market.
Cognis Deutschland Gmbh (Cognis.com): This leading global specialty chemical manufacturer operates in industrial markets around the world. O2Diesel, Corp. has partnered with Cognis on research, development and manufacturing for the company's proprietary products.
