Hey bro.
Hope you are well.
V77. *^]~
They were so far in the hole that no there was no chance. Not even close.
Thanks......I just asked a question about it,
checked my portfolio and sure enough, they
deep sixed AROPQ. Sad. It didn't have to
be this way, did it?

Another one I could have taken profits long
ago but got greedy and held for more $$$.
I realize this company is in bankruptcy with
plans of restructuring/reorganization which
will take years even if they survive.
https://cases.primeclerk.com/aeropostale/Home-Index
So if that is the case, I gather current shareholders
will be "out to lunch" so to speak.
This happened to me on another stock, which ultimately
came out of bankruptcy, actually withdrawing, and merging
with another large company,
prior to that I sold my shares for what I could.
However, after I did that, under current shares, the
share price goes up. I could have made about $33,000,
instead I lost almost all of it.
What are the chances of similar tidings happening here;
that somehow the share price of mere cents goes up to
a few dollars per share, eh?
Any guys or gals that can answer that respectfully, please
help me out. thanks
Briboy
So, people that held when the symbol became deleted, lost it all correct?
Yes as long as a few here grow a brain over it. If not, then a wasted opportunity.
I guess it's over. Not sure if that's positive news.

Bankruptcy, Shares Cancelled
Too bad they have nothing left to make it with. Creditors and shareholders have to eat it. Raw.
ONLY 54 MILLION IN DEBT:
https://cases.primeclerk.com/Aeropostale/Home-DownloadPDF?id1=ODQyODIw&id2=0
If for some reason the courts do not allow them to cancel this, they could make that in 4 months!
GO AROPQ $?$?$?$?$?$
The best part is the amount of people who actually look it up to see what it says! Love it!
You Are Probably Correct, Just saying superstition, SEC objection, and now up 48 percent! Dead cat bounce coming at least. Still a long shot, but a little excitement before we close this coffin completely.
GO AROPQ $$?$$?$$?$$?$$
Thanks. We cling to that Psalm daily.
I think you are missing a critical point.
General unsecured creditors and shareholders will not receive any
distribution under the Plan and are deemed to reject the Plan. Id. at 3-6; Plan at 14-15.
That paragraph you posted would indicate to me, not that the shareholders get anything, but the right to sue. The right to sue does not guarantee an outcome.
And this is why I didn't sell on superstition:
Not saying shareholders will get anything from this, make your own interpretations:
https://cases.primeclerk.com/Aeropostale/Home-DownloadPDF?id1=ODM4Nzky&id2=0
NOTE THE CONCLUSION:
"Because the shareholders did not consent to the Release and the Release does not
satisfy the standard to be approved as a nonconsensual release, the Plan must be amended
to strike the Release or state that it does not bind shareholders."
GO AROPQ $?$?$?$?$?
Love the use of your name!
Ah. I'm an idiot. Thank you.
That other one was an Israeli scam from the word go and I have been saying so from the beginning. True there was a lot of money if you rode the coattails. Those days are over.
Again, the stores are no longer associated with this stock.
Faith in ARO. We live near three ARO retail outlets. One being the giant and very busy store inside Woodfield Mall. It's hard to believe these stores won't bounce back. We (our family) wear their clothes and each time we go in, it's busy with customers. Seat belts everyone. IMHO.
We can avoid some of these boards and restrictions they impose if you want to just email me.
lavernyoder@juno.com
I would like to know more how you feel about OW and what we can expect to see in the next few days or weeks.
I still have some too but I'm loaded up in AMF*. Holding my last few here just to see what happens. Kinda wish I could have claimed more losses this year but couldn't. You can buy a car for the amount of taxes I owe this year! Hahaha GLTY
I still have some, but sold a lot to get OW??. I am only allowed 1 post there a day, so if you want to write on the other message board system you will find me there. Something big is about to happen, even bigger than what I was originally expecting. I have a small loss at the moment since I am averaged in at 0.38 (this year, last year made a huge profit). I was able to grab some more cheapies today. Wish I saw the dip coming 3 weeks ago. Anyway, as far as AROPQ goes, the end is near once again. Still holding on superstition only. It's the only loss I will have on next years taxes unless the Honorable Sean H. Lane sides with the shareholders.
GO AROPQ
Wasn't listening . . . I'm liking N.W.B.O and W.M.I.H over the next year so. You could throw a lot of money at these.
You still in BIEI? What are your thoughts about that one by now?
I wonder how many on this board took my advice on RXMD, especially Masterblaster.
That's the part that baffles me about this. People are buying stock in a liquidation of a company. A ghost. And trying to tie the performance or hope for future performance on the brand that is no longer a part of the entity they are buying.
Are people this dumb for real?
But AROPQ doesn't own them.
I've seen stocks where some[body]
bought 1 share.
There are still Aeropostale stores
around, and you can purchase stuff
online as well.
I realize the chances of survival are
next to nil, but that is what everyone
told me with American Airlines, and
I lost a couple years of college tuition
for my daughter......of course, they
went into bankruptcy but were rescued
by US Air. Their stock started over
again, but prior to that the share
price went from I believe under a
buck/share to over $14.00/share.
So, in the "extreme" I might understand
why someone would by more shares, heck,
even to swing trade this puppy, though
of late it seems pretty well ensconced
in James Bond land [or less].
One last time: Go ARO
Briboy
Only makes me think that someone hates their own money.
Who bought 600k shares today. I know it's not a lot of money, but why would someone do that??? Makes you think just a little
Yes but there is a 100% chance that RXMD, BIEI, and OWCP will all double within 2 months! Why should I waste any money and time on this anymore. Simon Property group got greedy and ignorant in not keeping this public. They should of volunteered to keep this public in the plan instead of stating that
"The Debtors believe that the Plan satisfies all of the confirmation requirements set forth
in section 1129 of the Bankruptcy Code, including the requirement that each holder of an impaired Claim
or Interest either (i) accepts the Plan or (ii) receives or retains under the Plan property of a value, as of the
Effective Date, that is not less than the value such holder would receive or retain if the Debtors were
liquidated under chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code on the Effective Date. This requirement is known as
the “best interests test.”

So What Chance do you think this will be denied in a court of law?
I guess the only chance of making money on this now is on the dead cat bounce. That's why some are loading up, hoping to get lucky to swing on it. I learned to only invest in stocks that have 100 percent chance of making me money, this or any bankruptcy stock is not one of them. They take forever to solve, and as a common stock shareholder you are entitled to nothing. Learn from this, what you learn is way more valuable than what you have lost. You now have the opportunity to pick winning stocks out of the over 14,000 available to choose from. Choose ones that have responsible management, great financials, and huge potential growth. All I've seen from AROPQ is lousy management, lousy financials, and declining growth.
Now that SMP has stepped in their financials have improved and Aeropostale will live on, but just like people who file Bankruptcy on their credit cards, the credit card companies get nothing. When you are a common shareholder you are just like the credit card company, you get nothing, but you move on and make money from other perspectives. This game is over, I will hold until a good dead cat bounce or the end, but only on superstition not on any wise investment advise or decisions.
No matter how improbable there is still a chance.
If you really want to be honest it died after this, has been going down hill ever since:
https://www.cnbc.com/video/2013/05/23/aeropostale-executive-confronted.html
Want a Good Laugh? Why would someone do this comparison?
http://speculatingstocks.com/stockcomparison/versus.php?stock1=20564&stock2=3
Both Simon Property Group and Aeropostale will make billions. However AROPQ?, well bankruptcy is bankruptcy. You just have to do what the credit card companies do when someone files bankruptcy. Make it back on your next investments. Already done, 10 times over for me so far and about to get even better.
https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/spg?ltr=1
I think that the mall people that bought this will end up being sorry they did as their empire crumbles away.
But if you really want to be honest, this thing died back in March. Unless you got out then, there is no real money to be made here.
In all serious the best reasonable optimistic end has already happened for me! I learned of hot stocks from this board about 14 months ago, did my DD and put lots of money in to them and got a lot of profits back from them. The profits much much higher than what I will lose, if I lose (and most likely will), from this. The other reasonable optimistic end is bankruptcy stocks are not worth it, in fact even companies getting close to bankruptcy are not worth it. I learned well and how to pick the best stocks from this, why invest money in a great company if their financials are lousy. Even if they make a great comeback you get nothing. There are very few exceptions. Instead invest in stocks that are great startups or stocks that are doing really good and about to do much better!
So what are the odds of this being another Citibank or American Airlines? How about 2 out of maybe 10,000, another words 0.02 percent. Although this went for a very long wild ride, the biggest hope was that the mall group would keep this intact to help promote retail, but they aren't according to the latest plan. So the only chance you have is if Judge Sean H. Lane objects to the plan and decides the share holders should receive something. Personally I think it's ignorant for the mall group not to keep this, it would set a great example for investors to invest in retail. Instead retail investments look sad. I am not selling on superstition, but will sell some if we a great dead cat bounce. Hopefully if you are planning the same I get out before you do, but I have so many much better hot stocks going I don't even watch this much. I probably take one look at it at the end of the day, volume more than price. If I start seeing 5M volume per day then the dead cat bounce will begin! Go AROPQ ?$?$?$?
What's the best reasonable optimistic end...?
I wouldn't, I am just not selling on superstition. However I learned my lesson. Don't gamble. If you have to use the word "if" in an investment it is a gamble. If you can use the word "when" with 100 percent confidence then that is an investment.
For examples:
Ex 1:
"IF" the courts decide to give shareholders 0.10 per share I will make a huge profit on this. - Gambling not good strategy
Ex 2:
"When" Progressive Care rxmd goes to .045 I will have tripled my investment and will be able to cash out 2/3 to buy another investment! - Excellent Strategy do your own DD
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All
Still here still holding I am just stubborn or stupid
Something is coming or you would not be here. Oh there will be a dead cat bounce or maybe an ox bounce. Some one is buying up those shares. I think you are grabbing some of them. I think you grab when ever they go below 0.01. I am just riding to the end, but still thinking about selling 1/2 when dead cat bounce or an ox bounce occurs:
Is that you loading up? I think you are loading up and getting ready for the dead cat bounce!
I never thought of flushing your money down the toilet as gambling, but I bet Vegas would love that concept.
Hey, I said from the beginning I considered this a gamble. You have to admit this went on a lot longer than both of us thought. Over a year and a half in the Q status. I don't really have that much invested here. I am hanging on to the end, but if we get that dead cat bounce I may just sell half. Right now my biggest investment is in RXMD. There is no false hope on that one. That is a great investment, no gamble. But if you can find something bad about that one, please post on that board. I hope you have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays, Exc.
Go AROPQ???
Glad to help . . . if having false hope makes you feel better, you came to the right place.
I was just checking to see if you were still around. If you're still here then there is still a chance left. Either way and as obvious it might seem, I am riding this until the end, which is most likely the effective date set by the court!
