have a good day.
Go uwki go.
No , not bad down here at all. I'm retired and the rest of you guys will have to fend for yourself ! I made mind, now all of you can do the same.
Nope , not about uWink at all..
I was trying to be "sibncere". Is it that bad down there what with the GM/ auto industry thing? It is bad here too.. we supply Michigan with auto parts. They don't call it the Golden Horshoe for nothing.
GO UWINK GO.
or is this more about uWink.?
Brian! How are you? Long time no chat... It is so nice to get your usual intelligent well-thought-out input on any and all topics. It is nice to see that someone can be so positive, objective and such a genuinely uplifting poster.
Keep up the good work and I sibncerely hope all is well with you!
Go uWink Go.
"I think you and I can do business".
"I can arrange security".
well... some time back someone on this board offered to give me some BJ. And I assumed he was male (could be wrong). Anyway, I referred him to the Jarvis street district here in Toronto, where I figured he could find prospective customers.
Or else he was talking about a stock symbol. I researched that as well.
if you never heard of a fish taco you must be gay.....BRIG
That's what I thought for a few years when I moved out here and refused to try one despite how popular they are thinking they sounded disgusting.
I finally gave in....they actually are very delicious. I was wrong.
I have never heard of a fish taco. Sounds disgusting.
Mmmmmmmm.....fish tacos.
You got this in an email about uWink, from uWink? That is probably because the management team has changed. The old team is now with TapCode. They have a new team to replace them, likely making much less money...
that is synonomous with them having no CASH.
"Under New Management"
Got this in an email a few days ago...interesting cartoon drawing with the pissed off Devil Guy yelling at the little scared guy.
Really under new management? Anyways...thought was interesting.
agreed about UWKI.... guess once the money runs out they will start to look for other options: ie. close one of the stores.
they need ONE successful place before they have three.
life or death of what? a couple of restaurants can run break-even indefinitely, especially if they are kept alive just for PR for something else and to test buggy software that annoys people trying to enjoy a greasy burger.
Now if you are talking about the software company..t hat is a different story isn't it? They ran out of "cash" just prior to this de-listing process. In fact, it was the reason for the de-listing.. wasn't it?
Again, UWKI's future being lethal was never in dispute. The only dispute was whether it was going to be within 6 months as you claimed or after 6 months like I claimed.
You lost.
I won.
Nanny, nanny, poo poo.
if book cooking does not keep the lights on... how then did Nortel survive, and not only that, grow to 90k employees, $124/share, and big fat bonuses for everyone until 2001? Needless to say even now in bankruptcy... with the funds they saved from those layoffs..
(notice I said "funds" and not "cash..)
huh?
they did not make a dime since 1997 or even earlier...
go ask John Roth (Nortel CEO (head chef) with the apron) if he ever baked a cake! Catch him between rides in his fleet of classic sports cars that he bought when he cashed out...
you will remember from your accounting 101 class that "Cash" = anything liquid or with a term of less than within 1 year. therefore you cannot take a bank balance and call that "cash". Only actuaries do that...
btw, liquid does not mean what you go buy a case of every week... or is that every day?
As usual, your analysis, reasoning, and overall logic is flawed, and your conclusions are a pathetic pile of Texas dung.
You should really try a baking class, you might have more success.
These guys were at the edge of bankruptcy when they decided to turn tail, make like a bunch of turtles, and hide under the shell they call the Pink Sheets, delisting in the process. Now they don't have to file financial reports, thus covering their ineptitude.
The only difference between them and the KKK is the color of the sheets they cower under.
Go buy an apron. Borrow Nancy's... unless it is all worn out.. :)
Book cooking doesn't keep the lights on in the restaurants.
Looks like Nancy Nino was telling the truth when she and the filings said they had enough cash to operate through April, huh? Although I haven't checked to see if the restaurants are still open or not...but I'll safely assume they are because there was never any doubt about the restaurants being able to stay afloat through April to anybody who had even a high school student's understanding of Accounting 101. :)
No they won't. Because they do not have sufficient CASH.!!!
Not that we will ever know, because they are cooking their books faster than a bunch or bakers on Saturday afternoon television. Ever wonder how they get those dishes done so fast?
so can the restaurants even stay afloat by themselves? These are done... but the tech company still has potential.
ha ha Im not sellin sh#t
Not so. You can sell anything. Just need a buyer. Don't know what you can sale them for but no law or rule preventing you from selling. You might also have to get the certificates and sell them to a willing buyer. Netman would probably pay something for them if you can deliver the shares. I might, too.
you cannot sell them until they are given a value.
Who cares about this stock? Not when there's....
TAPCODE!
lol
The stock has executed a perfect ">" stabilization pattern...
I just took a brief look at this and suddenly smelled something weird..lol.. like a vapor of some kind. And no it was not a brain fart.
My Scottrade account shows a symbol of (TPCD) with a price of 0.00. I have one share for each of my uwki shares.
So how do we sell these shares or are they just dead shares in our accounts?

uWink Completes Spin-Off of Tech Licensing Business
http://www.chainleader.com/article/CA6641561.html?industryid=47554
Following the spin-off, uWink, Inc. will continue to operate the uWink interactive restaurant concept.
uWink has distributed an information statement with respect to the spin-off transaction to stockholders as of the record date. The information statement contains important information about the spin-off transaction and Tapcode Holdings, Inc. and stockholders are urged to read it carefully.
Shares of Tapcode Holdings, Inc. common stock are subject to significant transfer restrictions intended to prevent public trading in the shares and can only be transferred in certain specific limited circumstances set forth in Tapcode Holdings' Certificate of Incorporation. These transfer restrictions are described in the information statement distributed to stockholders.
looks like this brief period of speculation on the stock is over...
TAPCODE HOLDINGS - Technology Business Licensing/Sales.
Tapcode to me (IMO) is their word play (name) on early communication cyphers, and other such methods, like morse code, that later developed into sophisticated communication interface systems.
btw: Am aware of the prisoner tap code use / meaning, and the origins of such encoding that go back to Ancient Greece.
DiggR: - uwki.pk - Tapcode = No (privately held).
Is their a new ticker symbol for this, and for Tapcode?
I swear. It closed today at .02. That is .005 pre R/S. JEEZ! Help Netman. Me too. I paid $1.45. or .3625 pre R/S.
He paid more.
How can a stock pps do that bad? Is there one worse on the planet earth? I don't think so!
"THE WORST IN THE WORLD"
Couldn't resist this coincidence:
Uwinks spinoff of the new co. is called Tapcode Holdings and this is the intro on Wikipedia if you look up 'Tap code': (obviously there is a legit meaning to this...but a bit humorous with all that's gone on with the company)
Tap code
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Tap Code)
The tap code is a cipher, commonly used by prisoners to communicate with one another. The method of communicating is usually by "tapping" either the metal bars or the walls inside the cell, hence its name.
well that would correlate with what I would think makes logical sense... regardless of the "proof" that has been published here.. after all, it is only the internet. Hopefully Risky knew what he was doing when he made his trade.
FWIW....Regarding the entire trade date, record date, ex-div date, etc etc. I sold a couple thousand shares in a separate account mainly for tax purposes, and curiousity over the arguing here. This trade was executed on the 17th.
Yesterday I received an equivalent amount of Tapcode Hldgs. It is free and clear and was double checked for good delivery by both my clearing firm and the transfer agent.
Have a good day all....back to your normally scheduled pissing contests.
I think I actually took you seriously here, missed your joke... oh well I called in sick today at work...
that was my thought with EVD at the time as well, but not sure of shorting is possible with stocks this cheap, on these markets (pinksheets?)..
Could have been shorts covering.... there were 21,200 at last count.
http://shortsqueeze.com/?symbol=uwki
Could it be that somebody or bodies got a little over-excited put a Market Order(s) in to Buy with no Limit? and there were some Sellers lurking...
??? the first trade of the day was 4,000 shares
This is interesting:
The MFI indicates way overbought. Up until now the stock has one it's usual thing. The MFI gets higher and higher while the stock levels out, then it drops and the stock drops accordingly. This time, the MFI got higher and higher, then the stock exploded... because it was so cheap I guess... it can't maintain this...
I remember now the stock I got out of when it did something like this. The symbol was EVD (Evolved Digital Systems). It shot up to .32 from .05 or something. I got out.. it was a Canadian stock. I never did learn the reason for that jump. Big volume too. The symbol is no longer active, because they got bought out years ago.
yeah remove the management salaries and the restaurants are cool. And they need them to help to sell the software... there is not much motivation for them to be profitable however..and not much control the investors can influence over them to be profitable.
Already there. EOM
I know that. Just letting others know BV - FWIW.
Was Not letting others know BV in regard to todays trades.
And The Restaurants are doing OK - IMO
