often when it is perceived that the share price is going much higher the warranst trade at a premium. Some investors use them vs buying calls which they may not be approved to trade.
Thx Barnstormer! If I understand your posted filing S-1 from 11/23/15 then he warrants will need to be exercised before 5 years are over or will expire. So we are in 2021 now. Does it mean they already are beyond the call date?
Thx, but calling would be difficult from overseas.
Do you have a link for the 1.1 conversion as I noticed that @Luckypenny posted it is a 1:2 ratio?
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=160936870
Yes that is what i do too, but i don't know if warrants can go higher than the strike price. 11.50
I'm guessing they can.
I have mine set at 7.25. And I will adjust it upwards as it goes.
Glad someone else here buys warrants.
GLTA
Today they closed at 19.6 and you're saying you will get out at 7. 25??
i often pick a price I am comfortable with anad do a good until cancelled
usually warrants have a greater % of gain than the shares
Thats why I buy the warrants too.
Yeah, it's been great so far, i'm hoping to get to 7.25 before i sell.
I wonder if it's possible? I have to keep a sharp look on it all day.
But I think that when the symbol changes that that may be my signal to get out.
Then again I just dont know what to watch out for, if anything?
Ha!
Terrible aren't I! LOL!
That depends on your intent. If you want to consider exercising the warrant with the company, suggest you get a copy of the the terms and conditions involved, regarding when and how it can be done, any call back provisions, etc.
My experience is most investors in warrants treat them like options, which may not have the long term potential, but gives them more freedom to deal with price ups and downs. Todays closing price was 3.15, which would give a nice 525% gain on that .60 purchase and 338% on the .93's.
I see, that is a good deal right now because I could sell them for much more than the costs involved, even at today's pps
Thanks.
I hope you make a bankroll in this too.
Lucky.
Assuming a 1:1 ratio, the warrant gives you the right to buy a share from the company for 11.50. Now you mentioned you purchased some at .60, so your total cost would be 12.10, assuming no brokerage fee.
Maybe this will help. https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/08/stock-option-warrant.asp
No, i'm holding short term.
Just for the immediate rise and then sell.
I like to bottom fish mostly, reaping when I can.
thanks again.
Thanks, I will call them tomorrow and get the details.
Really Appreciate the kind help guys.
I will post what I find out.
Lucky.
GLTA!
it all depends upon if you intend to be a long term holder of the shares.
There could be share price risk going forrward will depend upon the earning of the company, and the future economy. WIll the stock market be higher at year end than it is today. If so why or why not.
PEs are extream and looks like a bubble. Neew adminisstration may or may not change to tax rates
and or change the way the fed choose to use interest rates. WHne markets drop all boats go out with the tide. Will the market surpass 31000 and run to 44,000? or will it tank back to 10,000 oreven less.
What are CHina Iran and Russia upto and how about N Korea who said they will increase their nuclear stock pile. all these effect the future markets. Also inflation.
No, it did'nt. just peckw
thanks.
that was Nov 2015 those expired 2020. Should have been from the unit.
Look like we'll be closing at a new high today!
"I like it!, l Like it said Mike'y!"
LoL!
GLTA!
did you get that when peck had pecku a share plus a portion warrant
Maybe, but not according to the S-1 from 11/23/15 issued as part of the Jensyn/Peck merger. From page 85 of the S-1.
Warrants included as part of units
Each public and private warrant entitles the registered holder to purchase one-half of one share of our common stock at a price of $11.50 per full share, subject to adjustment as discussed below, at any time commencing on the later of 12 months from the closing of this offering or 30 days after the completion of our initial business combination. Pursuant to the warrant agreement, a warrantholder may exercise its warrants only for a whole number of shares of common stock. The public and private warrants will expire five years after the date on which they first became exercisable, at 5:00 p.m., New York time, or earlier upon redemption or liquidation.
Once the warrants become exercisable, we may redeem the outstanding warrants (except as described herein with respect to the private warrants):
• in whole and not in part;
• at a price of $0.01 per warrant;
• upon a minimum of 30 days’ prior written notice of redemption; and
I have never converted warrants into commons before.
I guess it costs money to convert them too. Would it be a good idea to do that now or soon?
11.50 is the strike price, so what? I would have to pay the difference between the 11.50 and the approximate value of 20 dollars (today's current price) in order to convert the warrants?
Thanks for the help.
these warrants are 1-1 exercise at 11.50
you can call the company 802 658-3378 and request a copy ofthe origonal offering
I bought the warrants at about 60 cents and then some more at .93 cents.
The warrants are good for 1/2 of a share of commons.
I am very new to warrants and don't know a-lot about them at all, just trying to make some money here.
I am also worried dizzy about when what might happen to my warrants when they finalize the merger.
GLTA!
sometimes warrants are issued not 1:1 but 3:1 e.g.
Did you research the warrants?
Are you aware if there are also rights to PECK like in some other SPACs?
Also do you think there is any arbitrage benefit in buying the warrants as compared to the shares outright?
the warrants are at a 3.84 discount to the strike
Agreed, don't see why not. Most of these EV plays are making investors money. My biggest play is FISKER. I really think his designs and deal with Magna is going to change the way we buy EV cars. FSR price has been going sideways for a few months and will soar once a real good PR is released.
Good luck to all!!!
think it will with that low ss
if this follows BLNK's path we are golden??
yup holding long here
I'M guessing news after hours today.
probably the symbol change, and PR.
going to break that 16s
8-K, Prospectus, closing posted. Jan. 12, 2021
