Good morning IGEN! Let's see if we can break 20 today!!
Yea, k_w!!! I've been watching for you!
"In the meantime where the heck are the CEA sales! Seriously only NY? And they had that setup last year!"
Ahhhh....Chan! I don't know what to make of that character. ?
I need your wonderful evaluations...don't know how you do it, sure appreciate you! GLTEveryone!
Abel actually made several new sales in past 6 months. He is responsible for running Nimbo tracking and it is the only area growing that I can see. No new CEO or Credit Union business since early in the year. I think over 75% of the devices sold this year are Nimbo tracking related. I'm hoping to see the deal with the Latin American Credit Unions. If that closes I suspect we can thank Abel as it he is fluent in Spanish.
Because of all the above I hope Chan realized Abel needed recognition/promotion. Abel may have asked for it. Which ever it is I'm not surprised by it and hope it lets us keep Abel.
In the meantime where the heck are the CEA sales! Seriously only NY? And they had that setup last year.
Anyone have insights if Chan was pushed by Board or major shareholders to give responsibility to Abel? Did Abel push for this? How upset would believers be if either was not with company in a year? Will a form 7 filed before year end show revenues and cash coming in? These are sone serious fundamental issues. Not to take away from all the technical trading commentary but the stock remains in the toilet with a difficult challenge of raising money and suffering further dilution. IMHO
Totally agree. I believe it's a character trait I'll call 'selfish' and it's not a good one in a 'leader', especially a leader of a company.
The wedge has broken down and I'm watching the 10MA as it falls into the diagonal 'buy' zone...I have a number in mind which isn't too far from pxxpy7's estimate.
It's all very troubling, especially when it could have been avoided.
I believe Chan has blown some valuable opportunities to 'sell' IGEN at different venues he's captained.
Thank heaven we have GSA/VA and CEA; I wonder what the execs think of our CEO after his 'performance' in Colorado. Did they, too expect a better prepared and professional CEO to join them there?
Yes, they've hired many, in the home office as well as other districts,,,but, my sense is that Chan doesn't have a clue how important this step is and likely isn't giving sales the proper attention it deserves. Kudos to him for hiring PPT and DOWC, both of whom are bringing in sales by professional sales people now-thank goodness.
I suspect a lack of respect as well as lack of proper remuneration were responsible for losses of Gentry and Ferguson.
There should have been contracts out of the six or seven conferences he participated in over the last year and one half-lots of bravado about 'negotiations' but I don't see the results...Someone other than Chan, I suspect should be handling these precious opportunities....imo
With the pps sliding down for so long now, it would seem
not many share your confidence, yet.
Chan is so tight lipped about things, it drives me nuts.
He could do so much more with shareholder relations, but he
chooses not to, which is extremely disheartening, and frustrating.
There are now plenty of bag holders here,
and I will probably be joining you with dry powder ready,
to average down yet again, if we ever find a bottom that is.
looks like the pincher chart may be starting to play out. Lets see if we have some follow through in the morning
They’ve had hires for sales staff though, right? Seems they’re taking steps to do right but things just aren’t getting done… at least in what would be thought of as a reasonable timeline. I’ll beat a dead horse again and state guidance is needed for shareholders.
I need more shares to wallpaper my room lol
What do you got sell me your shares
Theres not much more room to drop this before the 10q and the company isnt going to default on what it already has. Theres no debt so no reason to not buy.
Nov 15 we will see revenues... hoping to add a lot by then.
Always put your bid in below the low for the previous day it works every day, until you get to the golden goose egg. Which is the big prize that I told you to go for.
2020 igen blamed Covid; 2021, igen blamed Covid/downturn/supply chain; 2022, igen blame inflation...
Meanwhile, PU has almost doubled the number of employees. Hmmm....? GEOTab, Samsara, Garmin....
A GOOD SALES PROGRAM WOULD FIX IT!!!!
"and Chan has clearly shown he’s no marketeer."
A good sales team is invaluable to any company! Most work on mainly commission-no sales, no income. Where's IGEN's sales department...Good salesmanship requires a 'talent' for it.
Keep on averaging down, do not let up until you hit that magic goose egg.
We are currently in a recession, and the cold weather hasn’t even begun yet. Everything, from lemonade to OTC stocks, will be a tough sell and Chan has clearly shown he’s no marketeer.
I was holding some .0016 do you want them ?
I agree the Market is part of IGEN‘s problems… for quite a while now. I only sold bc I didn’t see any end in sight and have seen so many other tickers algorithm Trade lower, lower and lower to trips or all time lows with not enough volume to counteract the games. Still think this is good eventually but wasn’t willing to ride this down any further. Lots in the pipeline, just needs to come to fruition. Otc needs to go bullish again.
Sharpei, perhaps, perhaps not, but the
economy and inflation ARE the Markets problem, which
in case you haven’t noticed, have been dismal
this year particularly the otc. The job market is
the only reason the economy hasn’t tanked with
this inflation issue and the Feds raising interest rates every month.
And Igen obviously doesn’t have enough going on to buck
Market trends.
tapioca, the economy is NOT igen's problem right now. And, consumers are spending like drunken sailors. Look at the big picture. Nothing wrong with IGEN product; it's the way it's been 'handled'. Look at sales for Samsara and GeoTab! with inferior technologies!!!
Could be that we’re already in one and the pps
is at a 52wk low, so doesn’t seem Igen is weathering
whatever is going, too well, IMO.
All due respect, I think we could weather a recession well; it's going to depend on the talent at the top whether we do or not. The products are in a price bracket where the 'risk/reward' ratio should slide quite easily through a recession....The MARKETING talent is 'key'.
P.S. Not sure Brandon Gentry was a marketing genius but he certainly seemed to have a handle on getting that end further along than Chan, who is a disaster in that position, IMO.
With most economists predicting a recession
in 2023, impossible to know how long this mess can
continue.
Appreciate your response. Yes, I would imagine all are getting impatient (Robt Friedman, e.g.) So many times I've said Neil is no marketer. (Take #FamilyShield disaster, for example. What a super 'MISS' that campaign was.)
I've often hoped for a merger with PU; Mark seems to be a superb leader and CEO.
The only problem with IGEN as I see it is not having a 'key' marketing person-not sure Abel will do any better-but, Chan's a disaster in that department. Has he ever even heard of 'PowerPoint'?
The opportunity he had to attend the NACO conference and we dont see one contract from that blown opportunity! He should have gone fully prepared with real sales team and full-on production, in fact the other conferences-AGENT Summit-two seasons of Agent Summit-and ZIP!!! (Don't get me started....)
The change could be due to impatience, Chan/BOD have to be experiencing some of that just as all here are. His background seems to show him being quite capable of getting things done promptly and well. Don’t know…will wait and see.
As price drops - at .0016 now - more buying will occur, you know there are buy orders sitting at .001 - .0015 just waiting. This one isn’t going away, they have too much of value. Waiting for the overall market to strengthen.
Almost to Trips... unbelievable.....
Wow, what a-holes management turned out to be here... with these convertibles they did .....
Right on! Average down and build your position. It’s a terrible fuckin market currently but it will come back strong I believe. No RS and the company has made significant progress during challenging times. This company is in the right space, beginning to grow. IMO GLTY
( New 52wk low .0016 ) just added .0017 and.0018 yesterday. Lot of accumulation but the form t is relentless ..lets go Abel Sierra gives us shareholders a rest on the 2 years drop in share price .
P.S. Give us shareholders PRs. ....
One would think that the pps would moving
in the other direction anticipating a good Q in
Nov., but not much makes sense anymore.
Thanks pxxpy7: Yes, my thoughts, too re: Abel...So, I wonder why the change...(scratching my head).
I don't disagree with your expectations re: price (into Nov likely).
The government awards should only expand, imo; and DOWC and PPT (Now PCF after the purchase of PPT) should also continue to build.
There still could be a 'stellar' turnaround once the bottom is in.
Don’t suspect he will be doing anything he hasn’t already been doing, may have a little more flexibility in how and when things happen but not a big change of direction.
Won’t see trips here, but close, maybe .0012-3, then the buying will begin. When it went below .0018 today there was a bit of buying flurry, will increase as price lowers.
IGEN has something of value here and they’ve become a player in this industry, won’t be going away soon…unless sold.
It’s a low tide, all ships are down.
Well put man. I once considered this an investment up until about a year ago and now nothing more than a bunch of lotto tickets unfortunately. I really believed that the patent alone would be reaping rewards for IGEN by now ---- not all these BS mickey mouse installs that Chan is giving away free, months at a time. Anyway maybe 6+ months after approval of this recent amendment to thier patent we will get an "turn the tide" or "game changer" announcement for their efforts. Long ways out IMO
Also, "Installation of Medallion GPS units completed for first group of Counties in New York State expect an additional 350-400 commercial assets to be deployed in Q4"
0.0017 52 wk low who would though ...
Yep, it's been a tough ride now for a couple years in spite of regular reports of new contracts, city, county, state and federal awards; patent improvements, credit unions, dealerships; additional functions added to TDS patent, first-time positive bottom line revenues(Q2); and, "Record monthly shipment of 900 units" for September.... There is progress being made. I was reminding myself, also that Chan has purchased about 37M shares personally....We don't have a 'rose garden', but it's not weeds either; there's a great deal there to remind us that we're not betting on a hollow dream...
And, November is coming up quickly...The dream isn't dead by a long shot.
Anyone have thoughts regarding Abel's promotion? What may have precipitated that and/or what it may mean?
This is really sucking everyday now. We need something big here to turn the tide. Daily, Weekly, and monthly, it goes down. At this rate, it won’t be long until we see all our money wiped out. CEA deals that Chan talked about with the “New Administration money”, hasn’t done shit,
We should have gotten more sales by now.
There, maybe my bitching will stop the price from sliding further down the shitter.
Q3. about Nov. 15.
Fins already out or not yet. Thanks
GO IGEN
Wae the 911,911 you?
Just added more let's go $Igen
