RE: view the indicator values on advfn.com charts?
I don't think there is any way to do this.
Sent an email to support@advfn.com and request this feature.
Rick
Anyone know if you can view the indicator values on advfn.com charts? You can view the prices, but when I move the mouse over the indicators, it only shows the name of the indicator and not a value
amrn playing the super news stocks that win >95% of the time with 200-5000% gain- there was only one super news stock which you would of found in premarket using the tos market watch or after the market began the market watch gap up stock screen-any way if you were watching it-it went as high as 17.83 in premarket- and opened at 16.50>then it sold off down to 14.20 and the 17 call buy was at 14.35 for 0.50-055- its hot a high of 2.20 so far and will likely gap up and keep going this week to 4-7$>

If any of you are using this system, what are you all using for money management / loss prevention / exits?
I definitely think this system has merits. But it is important to know entries, exits and how to handle positions that are going against you.
Even all of your screenshots are hindsight.....you are using the replay feature for ThinkorSwim, and your ADVFN charts are always the day after.
You are the king of hindsight.
lol we aren't the same people, but it's funny this guy still hasn't shown a solid shred of proof that he is actually making any of these trades he claims his system is giving him.
Pretty sure I have watched him play every single MAJOR market mover perfectly over the past few weeks. That to me = BS
Back to the real world.....
What's %L on your screen?
I agree on GOOG and am waiting for 5-6X play on the upside!
with respect to LR, Which time period works best on TOS
5 days 15 min?
5 day 30 min?
I'm really trying to follow you on this, but I don't understand your post.
Do you have a money management/loss prevention system? I'm starting to understand some of your entries, some of your profit exits, but none of the money management/loss prevention.
In order
1. volume spikes
lr
rsi-2
Lerogee:"i only select stocks or etf s that follow the spy"
Ok, so are these stocks & etf based on scans from stockfetcher which only has daily/weekly rsi-2?
************
Lerogee:"i check on the monitor on advfn to see if their is more buying than selling and if im in a position the buy volume for the day has to be more than the sell volume the last 60 minutes of the trading system."
Lerogee:"I use a combination of advfn-tos profit charts 1-2 hour rsi-2"
Your documents say to check daily & intraday. Is your entry based on the daily rsi-2? If yes, then do you ignore daily rsi-2 after your entry and only use intraday signals?
****************
What is your loss prevention/money management on this system? position sizing & scaling in?
here are the tos formulas 1. rsi(2)>
def will = round(RSIWilder(length = 2, over_Bought = 90, over_Sold = 10));
plot result = will;
assignBackgroundColor(if will>90 then color.dark_red else if will<10 then color.blue
else color.current);
2. profit>
round (( AverageTrueRange(5) / Average(CLOSE, 5) * 100), 2)
3. volume spike>
round(Volume / Average(Volume, length = 30) * 100)
i dont pay attention to the ma only the volume bars
What's the 'calculation' for the profit indicator on TOS?
Lerogee, On the ADVFN charts, do you actually use the 5 day ratio MA of volume line? I ask because if it is changed to 1 day it makes those blue bar buy signals easier to spot as the ratio works almost like an on/off (digital) signal.
JT
5 day profit indicator on TOS market watch tells me the best moving stocks>the higher the number the more you make>notice mcp and agq are >5.0 which means they have moved an average of 5 percent for the last 5 days which is big money on options>

plus i have the live rsi-2 on the tos market watch on all weekly options i follow plus any others that are moving up and down strong>
notice mcp was near the 60 minute low at the close on 4-15-2011> and goog is getting near its low on everything- a buy on goog would be when the 30-60 rsi-2 >80%- they say you cant catch a falling knife but actually is very easy> good example when csiq went 32-9$ last year- at 9.05 every rsi-2 was below 3% which is very low for the monthly> so when it >80% on the 15-30 minutes rsi-2 s it was near 9.38 plus the money was flowing in the last 30 minutes>so i got the 10 and 11 calls cheap> it closed to 10.05 and the next day it gapped to 10.90 the very top of the lr a sell> so i sold for a quick 1 day gain of 144% and 177%>
http://screencast.com/t/NXt2l1bw
here are the trading rules for advfn.com and TOS profit charts>
sell rsi-2 and lr tops and buy lr and rsi bottoms if the volume is on the buy side.
i only select stocks or etf s that follow the spy- i check on the monitor on advfn to see if their is more buying than selling and if im in a position the buy volume for the day has to be more than the sell volume the last 60 minutes of the trading system. I use a combination of advfn-tos profit charts 1-2 hour rsi-2>
lets give you some good examples> lets look at mcp> the last week-- i use tops and bottom of LR and rsi-2 as sell and buy signal with the buy and sell volume chart on advfn.com>
profit 5 day 15 minutes chart>
http://screencast.com/t/x3F5duH8
just follow the rsi-2 15 minutes chart and the pink and light blue volume bars on advfn.

Nope I'm not the same person. I've actually traded the rsi-2 system. It seems to work fine. I was just wanting to find out the finer points of the system. Because I want to be able to stay in the trades for as long as possible.
That is why I am asking for "typical" profit targets and exits. Since lerogee said this system doesn't use stops, I am assuming that this system is position sizing/scaling in if the entry isn't perfect. But at some point a trader knows when a trade is bad and should exit, unless it is position sizing and you don't mind losing all of that money in the one position.
I am not trying to be smart-alack, but I figured with >90% wins then there have been some losses, and I was curious how those are "typically" handled.
Lerogee if you can help me understand the exit/money management/loss portion of the system I would appreciate the help
Thanks
Yea..Damn Zack/Zand for his good questions which lerogee can't answer...
How do you handle the < 10% loss? Please post example like with winners.
How is this different than the spreadsheet or the ivolatility.com website, or is it?
http://www.otrader.com.au/free_stock_and_option-downloads/free_option_pricing_calculator.asp
I went and set up the rsi 2 like in you ebook. What do I do to enter the trade? Which RSI do I use to enter a trade? Which do I use to exit. I notice you have many such as day, 2 minute, 1 minute, 2 hours etc.
How do you know when to exit?
In my others post I was wanting to find out how you get rid of losers? When do you decide enough is enough and bale out of yours trade?
Thank you

NEWS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SPY MOVEMENT EVERY DAY--
when it looks like selling-its actually buying --
this is why no one hardly wins- when they drop the spy real fast -the people who control the stock market are buying- like the drop today from 130.70 to the bottom- the actual buy volume went +5 million shares-- last year on 7-21 was the best example I have ever seen-- this was the day bernanke came out with the vague weird comment about the market> at 1415> it drop like a rock from 108.50 to 106.50- it was in a consolidation the 2 hours before he talked at near 108.50- during that times the spy went -14 million shares to the sell side- so i got a ton of the 108-105 puts-- when it dropped near 106.60 i sold them and bought the 107-110 calls for aug-what actually happened on that big drop down was it went from -44 million shares to the sell side to +44 million shares to the buy side plus 40 million shares bought in AH for a net gain of 128 million shares to the buy side--that why they gapped it to 109 the next day--you see all the news is owned and controlled by these people who owned 95% of the worlds money-this is how they got it. They own all the companies that put out the news including even the government weekly reports-the government is in on it too-that how they have >70 trillion$ in off ledger account you have never heard of. They have completely changed the ponzi game the last few years by having all the big volume spikes near the bottoms and gradually selling it off on low volume days as they raise the market up- you rarely see any capitulation tops-that is why people get killed because once they have sold off they will drop the market like a rock. All you have to do is follow their footprints which are very large and easy to see-just follow their money and the rsi-2-the last 3 days the rsi-2 has been at the low of each day 1.7% 1.7% and today 0.7% the exact same as it was at the market bottom at 100 on 7-2-2010. The markets are programmed 4-6 weeks in advanced so any news actually has nothing to do with what happens in the market on any particular day- thats why some days it seems to make no sense. The computers are programmed to sell or buy to each other-that why 88% of the daily volume on many days is 100 shares lots. And these shares are owned by the people who control the stock market.
If anyone wants to talk about a few stock pick options I have been researching, send me a PM with your email and I will email you. I am not a spammer or pumped, I just want some more personal and direct communication, and more insight on my ideas. GLTA in your investments.
strangle on goog today.
011/04/14 Buy to Open GOOG Apr 11 540.00 Put GOOG 10.0 $2.10 $10.00 -$2,110.00
2011/04/14 Buy to Open GOOG Apr 11 615.00 Call GOOG 10.0 $2.20 $10.00 -$2,210.00
cost 4.30$ at 547 now at 5.47 call worth 0.38 put worth 9.36$ so this worked out fine since they werent overpriced near the close
goog earnings-based where the market is at the bottom i would think goog might have good earnings to help the market start moving up again-actually playing it 1 day by before exp. can be the most profitable trade-since they are not over priced right now and if it moves it normal 3-10% on earning then we could play an out of the money strangle>option calculator slight favor the call side right now and the weekly spy 4-21 options are slightly to call side also.
http://screencast.com/t/7m5NKtYHlf0R
Can you post an example trade chart with comments on:
How/why you entered
How you determined what position size you wanted to trade
How you decided to exit for a profit?
Finally if a trade goes bad, how you decided your exit.
Finally, do you position size and scale in? Have you determined that you are willing to lose 'x' percent of your account on a trade and you are willing for you position to become a total loss (thereby avoiding using stop losses)?
Frankly I think it is you that is missing the point. It is one thing to learn tools and techniques to trade, and quite another to learn tools and techniques to help you trade successfully. Some of what Lerogee offers has value but the overwhelming deluge of information is not likely to be helpful to anyone in the long term. Successful trading strategies are generally based on simple concepts and simple rules.
I have a full time job, I trade in my spare time, and I have a family. I earn a higher rate of return than any of Lerogee's long term returns in the options contest. Why should I spend my spare time trying to understand his approach?
This is more of a challenge than a question. Has anyone earned 90% wins based on Lerogee's teachings, or even consistent returns? That is the measure of the quality of the instruction.
you have to watch it live
Ok,
Makes sense. In place of stops, how do you protect yourself? Do you use position sizing & scaling in if the position goes against your entry. What are your typical profit targets (make 'x' % profit, technical level?) and exits on a trade?
Thanks
never use a stop lose-this is how the market is so easily manipulated and why people lose so often-Their computers know here every stop lose is.
What is the stop loss on this system if any? Or is it position sizing & scaling in if the position goes against your entry. What are your profit targets and exits on a trade?
how i played nflx to perfection last 3 days- 24 option plays 24 winners average gain +248%
http://screencast.com/t/To69vAge7tq
here is the 240 call graph- went last 2 days 0.50-2.00 and 0.90 to 2.45
http://screencast.com/t/vd99zz6v9l
here you can see i bought the 235 and 240 april calls near the bottom today low on 240 was 0.85 and low on 235 was 2.30
http://screencast.com/t/6wlpom7yLkf
Please correct me if I’m wrong--So what you’re basically saying is that if I get too many results, I should up the profit indicator value and increase the volume value of the filter. Then look in ADVFN for buy volume off the bottom.
JT
