And then they themselves slithered away without a word when that spineless worm Fled shut down the shell game without even facing his loyal shareholders to account for why the company was closing.

So perhaps this board and the remaining posts here serve a valuable purpose, by reminding the extremely gullible, who are serial victims ripped off by every huckster who comes along, that they were taken like babies at a high stakes poker game by some third rate clowns who pretended to be businessmen.

Instead of getting taken in by promises of the next Microsoft by a junior college drop out, they should think about investing in diversified mutual funds that hold the shares of actual companies that make successful products.

A lot of people got burned a bit on edig by, in hindsight, staying in too long.

Management's inability to tell the truth certainly contributed to the situation.

Agora with its speak only good policy didn't help things either. Any criticism of the company was blocked, which created an echo chamber of long investors egging each other on with happy talk and unsubstantiated, fantasy claims of Golconda right around the corner.

I haven't been to this board in years but see a few familiar handles. DISCHINO died some years back... even before EDIG finally did if I remember correctly. Agoracom seems unrecognizable now.

I lost a lot on EDIG - too much to admit. But I finally moved on. I have a few long-term stocks that I'm still waiting on to make me rich. They're all long-shots but still very much in play. Much better than EDIG but that's easy. EDIG wasn't worth a crap after 2000 - hindsight being 20/20. Amazing how long I hung on.
