thanks for the link scottie
i post ed the options stuff on the stockhouse ECS board
scott
I have no idea how to check his strike price ..
Maybe you can as i not that savy doing that stuff
who's the transfer agent, his options have to have a strike price, maybe check with FINRA or even your own brokerage
management wont get a thing if they dont cut some grade proving up their assets
scott
These greedy insiders think they will get rich with all there options , on a cheap buyout they get poo ..
The new CEO got 1,200,000 the company has not posted what his cost will be and posters that have tryed to check it says confiditional
I dont want to say too much cause Im familiar with their claim, looking for a lower 2019 entry. Jr's build a mine, get some production going then sell out or are bought out by a conglomerate.
https://www.mckinsey.com/industries/metals-and-mining/our-insights/lithium-and-cobalt-a-tale-of-two-commodities
unless the world reverts back to wooden wheeled vehicles, Im gonna say these minerals will eventually be discovered in wild Idaho.
scott
this thing should be a cash cow , one minor problem the last CEO was a bean counter and hired people way to early , a clear wast of money and in my opinion company is being run like a union shop , way to many managers
If she is ineffective in her position, shareholders can start a campaign to get her outted, especially if she isnt advancing the companies public relations, have you tried other social media, twitter facebook or even writing management?
I sold ESCIF in the $1.04-$1.08 range knowing the mine was too far out from production. Then Musk started claiming Cobalt wasnt a critical element for EV's after much acclaim to the opposite.
Something isnt right but the asset isnt going to mine itself, lets hope 2019 is different. Perhaps a buyout by a conglomerate?
scott
someone does not like me posting the short numbers for several stocks that i have , I have TMX powerstream and i called them and all i get is a run around , i will not be renewing at month end .. I was restricted from posting on stockhouse for 7 days awhile back , my guess making fun of our over paid investor relations gal that is trying to pump the stock . She has one little problem that i can see , no one believes what management says anymore and several posters on stockhouse are not to happy with her either
truthfully farm1 class actions never give much back to the shareholders, the ONLY thing that will keep ESCIF in the game IS the Idaho deposit, its not like its going anywhere.
management come and go
but I will agree, something is askue
scott
Some holders think the management is doing this sandbagging on purpose and i for one could not disagree . The last CEO said as soon as the water treatnment plant was up and running we go underground .
When a company CEO makes a statement like that and not do it i would think class action
jmho
How far is ESCIF from Production farml? Theres better than a year before the trommel starts turning, not knocking the company, just watching for EOY bargains.
Actually Im surprised with no operations just a little construction that ECSIF is trading above a dime.
Santa Claus may give some ECSIF gifts last week of December, strange things always happen during tax sales week.

6 weeks away from feasibility study and two years from full production.
Has some room to fall then kaboom.

listen very carefully to this , the CEO is at the mine site and getting things done the way it sounds to me .
The CEO was given 1,200,000 stock options if i remember correctly
JohnnyRotton'
You are waiting for a drop , i guess you believe in the Easter Bunny
should run with 2nd feasibility study and then mining in spring. That is my take. Should go down or trade sideways till the study comes out. If it is positive hopefully goes up.
I don't own any right now, waiting for it to drop a bit.
Bottom play. GLTA

Hey MazelTov
Where is the cobalt going to come from to power all the electric cars of this world !!!
Re:::$ECSIF to .001 imo. Minerals are getting crushed. Market slowdown
$ECSIF to .001 imo. Minerals are getting crushed. Market slowdown
I figured you would know since this mine has been in development for the past 25 years.
https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=143852625&txt2find=25
The company is not really giving us real time construction updates . Per the last CEO he said as soon as the water treatment plant was up and running we will go underground .
Go to the company website and read
How far out is ECSIF from mining any cobalt?
price of cobalt
will be interesting what the listed price will be on the Lime exchange . Have seen artical where cobalt is priced about $20,000.00 a ton higher than the Lime exchange
This news looks like a long term shut down. Hopefully we can capitalize on it and run with it.
Hit nail on head
RE:::This may explain why my cobalt stocks bounced today.
That artical is misleading in my book , says they produce about 25 % of world supply [[[ this is a disastor in my thinking ]]]]
This may explain why my cobalt stocks bounced today.
This is big news people
This mine produces about 25 % of global supply and the numbers quoted in this PR are misleading as they say all sales have stopped and quote 1500 tons , maybe this is just a month or maybe a week production , anyway you read it is stinks .
Glencore suspends cobalt sales at key DRC mine after uranium found
One of Glencore’s key cobalt mines in the Democratic Republic of Congo has halted sales of the battery metal after it found traces of the nuclear fuel uranium on the site.
Katanga Mining, one of the largest cobalt producers in the world, said the amount of uranium in the metal had exceeded the limit allowed to truck it out of the country to ports in east Africa. The mine accounts for around 25 per cent of global cobalt sales, according to RBC.
The stoppage is likely to have an immediate impact on the cobalt market, which is a critical part of the electric car supply chain, due to its use in almost all lithium-ion batteries.
It’s also a blow to Glencore, which restarted the Katanga mine late last year following its suspension in 2015.
Katanga said it will keep producing cobalt but stockpile the metal until it had constructed a $25m Ion Exchange system to remove the uranium, which was likely to be completed by the second quarter of 2019.
A total of 1,472 tonnes of cobalt has so far been impacted by the suspension, Katanga said. The mine produced 3,500 tonnes of cobalt in the third quarter of this year.
“The temporary suspension of cobalt sales during the construction of the Ion Exchange system is expected to negatively impact revenue of Katanga during the fourth quarter of 2018 and the fist and second quarters of 2019,” Katanga said.
The price of cobalt has risen by 11 per cent over the past year to trade at $33.5 a pound, according to Metal Bulletin.

We have been working on this project for almost 25 years , this is not a big mine but you would never know it by how many people we have working and i not counting construction workers. We have about 25 people working in Samon Idaho , now do not forget we hired a company to tell us what to do !!!!!
Have you ever constructed a mine before? Everything takes years to complete and it take thousands of man hours with man power to do it. The Cobalt isnt going to leap out of the ground all by itself.
A changing of the corporate guard is healthy but the manual labor guys are needed at this juncture.
Just think of all of these discounted shares the MM's keep handing us. When the ribbon cutting takes place all of these shares accumulated will be turned in for greenbacks or Bitcoins, which ever happen to be popular at the time.
Some of the news today was good
CEO retired and i will not miss him , maybe some will ! My guess the new guy may stop hiring new people the mine is not open yet , the mill is not completed yet , the water treatment plant is not up and running yet and the way it sounds everything is staffed with nothing to do
JMHO
things moving along
a bit to slow for me but i will wait

Water Treatment Plant infrastructure and Pond liner near completion; Tailings Waste Storage Facility liner and pipelines in progress; commencing mill foundations
VANCOUVER, Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - eCobalt Solutions Inc. ("eCobalt" or "the Company") (TSX :ECS ) (OTCQX: ECSIF) (FRA: ECO) reports that construction continues to advance on time and on budget at its Idaho Cobalt Project (the "ICP"), located near the town of Salmon, in the heart of the historic Idaho Cobalt Belt. The ICP remains the sole, near-term, environmentally permitted primary cobalt deposit in the United States.
Progress development highlights include:
Water Treatment Plant ("WTP") building completed. Placement of large components and mechanical assembly to commence September 18th.
Lining of the Tailings Waste Storage Facility ("TWSF") and ponds advancing with expected completion in September for ponds and October for TWSF, including gravel topping.
Pumpback system pipelines installation now 65% complete.
Bulk fuel storage and distribution system complete.
Construction of surface mobile equipment maintenance facility initiated on September 6th.
Construction of the mill building foundation commenced on September 10th.
"Our main priority is finalizing all environmental systems at site in preparation for underground mine development in early 2019," stated Paul Farquharson, President & CEO of eCobalt. "This includes getting the Water Treatment Plant in place, the liner installed on the Tailings Waste Storage Facility and Water Management Ponds, and electrifying the pump back wells. These activities are part of the use of proceeds from the February 2018 public offering and are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year. I am pleased to report that we are advancing on time and on budget as our team has been working expeditiously during the summer months."
Evaluation of several project financing options continues, including off-take, traditional financing, bond financings, and other financing alternatives to fund the development of the ICP. Discussions continue to progress with strong interest from multiple parties in numerous jurisdictions with the aim of being finalized once the Optimized Feasibility Study has been completed. Additional updates will be provided as available.

ECS should start moving soon , this has just been a tree shaking in my opinion . The water treatment should be done next week and then we can go underground . The ore can be stockpiled until we get the crusher and mill completed
How long before those two items are making noise?
As soon as the water treatment plant is up and running
We can go under ground , that could be late next week . When we go under ground the ore will be stockpiled while we build the crusher and processor
We have some movement today. Hopefully between the advancements in production and a major holder pushing them, we may get up and running sooner than later.

Metallurgical Testing Confirms Feasibility Level Process Flowsheet for the Cobalt Production Facility
VANCOUVER, Sept. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - eCobalt Solutions Inc. ("eCobalt" or "the Company") (TSX: ECS) (OTCQX: ECSIF) (FRA: ECO) announces the successful completion of pilot-level metallurgical testing for the Company's 100% owned Idaho Cobalt Project (the "ICP"), located near the town of Salmon, in the heart of the historic Idaho Cobalt Belt. The ICP remains the sole, near-term environmentally-permitted primary cobalt deposit in the United States.
Pilot-level testing conducted at Hazen Research, Inc. ("Hazen") confirmed the arsenic removal process to produce a clean cobalt concentrate from ICP ore concentrates utilizing rotary kiln roasting methods, as demonstrated in previous bench scale testing reported in a news release dated June 25, 2018. The pilot studies concluded with a continuous run of 70 hours, including the orderly startup and shutdown of the process. ICP concentrate was fed for 50 continuous hours with process temperatures, pressures, and flow rates maintained throughout the test as designed.
The study verified both the concentrate roasting process to produce a clean concentrate and the exhaust gas management system, which safely captured and removed arsenic and sulphur from the exhaust gas stream, as designed for vitrification and neutralization, respectively.
These results validate feasibility-level detailed engineering of the simplified flowsheet for the Cobalt Production Facility ("CPF") to produce a clean cobalt concentrate, including costing and sizing of equipment. The results support the Company's optimization efforts to reduce technical risk, CAPEX, and OPEX of the CPF in the Optimized Feasibility Study, planned for release this quarter.
eCobalt has been working with a number of established cobalt metal traders on marketing efforts for off-take arrangements. Samples from the pilot test will be sent to parties the Company has been in discussions with, with the goal of confirming commercial terms and finalizing agreements.
"Results from the pilot testing have provided a high degree of confidence for the production of a clean, high value cobalt concentrate for potential off-take partners, further advancing current discussions," commented Paul Farquharson, President and CEO of eCobalt. "With these results we will now proceed with finalization of the Optimized Feasibility Study, which also incorporates data from the optimized mine plan and the February 2018 updated resource model into a new mineral reserve estimate. The successful conclusion to the pilot work achieves a key milestone in our development of the ICP into North America's first primary cobalt producer."

Just a board to exchange ideas and information about this Canadian mining company - Formerly known as Formation Capital Corporation.
eCobalt (the Company)’s primary asset, the 100% owned Idaho Cobalt Project, remains the only advanced stage, near term, environmentally permitted, primary cobalt deposit in the United States. The ICP will ethically produce environmentally sound battery grade cobalt salts, made safely, responsibly, and transparently in the United States.
The ICP is comprised of the Mine/Mill (M/M) site located in Lemhi County, Idaho, near the town of Salmon, Idaho and the Cobalt Production Facility (CPF), a stand-alone hydrometallurgical facility will be located in Southern Idaho near the city of Blackfoot. The CPF will process concentrates from the M/M into cobalt, copper and gold end products. The project is slated to produce the equivalent of 1,500 tons of high purity cobalt sulfate annually over a projected mine life of 12.5 years.
The ICP is fully permitted having received a final Environmental Impact Statement and positive Records of Decision from both the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Forest Service and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. A Feasibility Study on the ICP completed in 2008 allowed the Company to finance the initial construction of the project. To date approximately 90% of the earthworks have been completed at the minesite.
