CHARLES INDUSTRIES IMPROVES SAFETY OF COMMONWEALTH EDISON’S
ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION WITH CP212 SECONDARY POWER PEDESTAL
ROLLING MEADOWS, IL (July 19, 2012) —
Charles Industries, a leading provider of innovative enclosed solutions for communication and power distribution, has announced that ComEd, a leading provider of electric utility services in the Midwest, has approved the CP212 Secondary Electrical Distribution Pedestal. The CP212 is the power industry’s first non-metallic pedestal to comply with ComEd’s comprehensive secondary power pedestal requirements (ENC-6001-C), improving safety for both the general public and ComEd technicians. This specification provides the most stringent requirements for safety and secure access in a non-metallic solution, which will avoid the conductive and corrosive risks of traditional metallic solutions. “Charles Industries was recommended by a joint-trench telecommunication partner for its expertise, flexibility and broad manufacturing capabilities,” commented Curt
Schultz, Distribution Material Specialist for ComEd. “As we defined our requirements, Charles launched into design and development that delivered the required functionality at the
appropriate cost points to enhance the safety of our distribution facilities.” The CP212 meets ComEd’s rigorous safety requirements and completely eliminates any metallic hardware from conducting electricity from the interior to the exterior of the pedestal. In
addition, it provides a split-base design that reduces technician labor for re-entry. “Leveraging the strength of our Telecom enclosures and materials, we were able to develop a premier
solution to expand our product portfolio into Electric Utility power distribution facilities,” stated Minesh Patel, Vice President of Charles’ Outside Plant Business Unit. Charles has served the Utility market for many years with products that enabled internal communications and smart grid applications. The company’s 360-80 Channel Bank plays a vital role in SCADA applications, and its CUBE enclosures provide robust environmental protection against the elements for remote communication gear and electronics.

I'm not sure, but at least it's movement. That's a lot of bonds...
Interesting
I wonder what business they're involved with now
Z
Found this on bloomburg businessweek
CoMedia Corporation Announces $600 Million Bond Sale
08/30/2011
CoMedia Corporation announced that it sold $250 million of five-year first mortgage bonds, maturing on September 1, 2016 with a coupon of 1.95% and $350 million of 10-year first mortgage bonds, maturing on September 1, 2021 with a coupon of 3.40%.
It's a shame CMTN didn't capitalize on the growing soccer trend and recent world cups of USA's men and women championships. What a lost cause, years of disappointment. LOL Surprisingly enough not a surprise.
I still have some shares!
I hope they fill the gap today then ramp this thing!
Do you want to be moderator? tia
We have a start! Up 183%
I still own a lot of worthless shares. Would it be better to turn these over for a tax deduction or should I wait that in some time in the future (maybe years), I will get my money back. My break even point is around 3 pennies.
Is this gonna be a shell play or what...lol
Z
hey, did you hear someone said that there's a company looking at buying CMTN's shell?
YEAH! They have found vast veins of Gold and possibly the largest find of lithium ever discovered!
lol
Empty shell, mate.
Only hope is for some unheard of Gold mining company in Afghanistan to buy it and go public!!
I'm not surprised they haven't done anything, but if they don't do anything with the USA being in the world cup, they are passing yet another opportunity! Assuming they even still have connections with soccer.
A buy! Go CMTN!
I'm bored. Look at www.mynewlifetoday.com
Someone buy this shell already...lmao
Z
That's true. :)
All we can do is hope. At least if something happens now we'll get to pay less tax.
OK, this may be a swing at a ball that is WAY outside the plate, but might as well go down swinging and not staring at the ball, right? (it's almost spring so i figured I'd use a baseball analogy)
So, this "wild" theory of mine was thinking that when CMTN kind of disappeared in the last year or two and the last thing they were doing was web pages. I haven't got a chance to do much research, but I'm wondering if they have anything to do with RocketTheme. If so, this might get kind of interesting. :)
BUY-IN
Somebody smart I hope!
nope....lol
Z
that was me selling for tax loss season...
I can't wait for this any more...lol
Maybe I'll buy back in next year and hope for a buy out of the shell
Sad, but lesson learned on this and the amount of money I invested...ugly...LMAO
Z
Hope for someone to buy out the shell
That's what I'm hoping for
Z
I really thought this was going to be the big one. Has a stock like this this ever come out of Dormancy or is this pretty much it. I own a ton of shares. Sometimes it is tempting to sell them, but at 99.99% down it doesn't make sense.
double test
bid and ask are slowly getting tighter....
Hmmmm
I wonder if this will ever move or will someone buy this shell
Z
NOPE
I wish I knew something, but I don't
Just appears that this is very thin at the moment
Z
Does anybody know anything here? tia
I break even at .03
I bot way high.
Me tooo...All my shares in this are LONNNNGGGGGGGG term now....lmao
