SOOOO...Any word on this POS company?
it's been this way since the beginning of its life
Are there any other shareholders who think Fabio keeps us in the dark?
Fabio,
What's new? It's been six weeks since your shareholder update. You had a reason for keeping us in the dark for 10 months. Is it possible to inform your shareholders on a monthly basis? Don't you think we deserve what you are up to with our money?
i been a investor for almost 10 years now and Fabio hasn't been able to bring it in for us.
who knows where the boat is heading this time. if someone does, it's only Fabio.
i do believe he will try to keep investors informed more often than before due to the past situation of asset in jeopardized.
the only good thing i know so far is that i haven't wrote off my loss.
we been beat down for so long and still not yet completed vanished. i say it's time to go upwards
let's keep the hope up and at least, we got nothing more to lose but time.
:$
After all these years please don't tell me how smart Fabio is. Everyone knew Soltera was bellyup and anyone could have tried to make a deal with the titleholders. Fabio got me for about $100,000.00 and he is now looking for new suckers. I'd like ShawnJon's opinion on Fabio's great guidance of our past company!
Now that's a surprise development! Summer is coming to the Southern Hemisphere so the timing is good.
Fabio was smart to keep it quiet until he got the rights signed. Hope it's worth a lot more than $4M once development starts.

And additionally here's a Shareholder Letter:
Dear Shareholders,
my apologies, there has been no communication from your Board for a long time and I would like to explain why.
Basically, we spent considerable amounts on trying to retain our listing on the Pink Sheets and ran low on funds at precisely the beginning of the metals slump. To complicate matters , payments to the El Torno mineral title owners were in default and it looked as though we could lose our only asset.
We did not wish to communicate this situation to competitors interested in El Torno.
In December 2015 the management decided to use most of the last remaining funds to commission an independent technical report from SRK, the internationally reputed consulting company, on the gold potential of El Torno.
The report is very positive, stating that the geological setting is good for deep, structurally controlled ore bodies (which can be large) and that surface gold in some areas ofer the possibility of rapid gold production that can be proftable and fund deeper exploration.
I have just returned from discussions in Argentina with a representative of the mineral title holders and am pleased to report that the mineral title owners believe very strongly in the project, are fully prepared to work with us on raising funding and that Soltera has secured the property for a period of eight years.
We now aim to raise sufcient funds or joint venture to develop the near surface gold with a view to rapid proftability and the ability to fund deep exploration for a large deposit.
Yours sincerely,
Fabio Montanari
President

Soltera Mining Corp secures El Torno gold property for eight years
PR-Inside.com: 2016-10-24 21:12:28
Jujuy, Argentina – October 24, 2016 - Dr. Fabio Montanari, President and CEO of Soltera Mining Corp. (www.solteramining.com) is pleased to announce that Soltera has entered into an agreement with the El Torno mineral title holders. The agreement replaces all previous contracts and agreements and the main conclusions are that;
1) Both parties will seek potential investors and Soltera will provide the title owners with technical information,
2) The title owners will maintain the property and be compensated in the event of sale or development,
3) Soltera and the title holders will jointly negotiate with potential investors,
4) In the case of sale, the minimum price will be $4 million.
5) The agreement is for four years renewable by either party for an additional four years.
The El Torno property covers around 78 square kilometres of rolling country in the high Andes near the border with Bolivia. It contains a large gold-bearing quartz vein system that was worked underground by the Incas and Spanish conquistadores and has about 1 km of underground galleries which are now flooded. The geological setting is excellent for a large vein-style deposit as described in a 2016 independent technical report by SRK Consulting who recommended at least 24 diamond drill holes to 100 meters depth. In addition, Soltera surface and trench sampling showed some spectacular results, including a one and a half meter long sample with 375 g/t gold, and identified several specific areas where gold-bearing veins appear to be concentrated at the surface.
As shown by the SRK Consulting Independent Report, the property therefore has two targets: surface gold with the potential for very rapid production and much larger scale deep structurally controlled gold deposits.
Soltera will now contact potential investors and joint venture partners. Funding raised will be used to rapidly develop the near surface gold deposits with a view to providing both profitability and self-funding for the deeper exploration.

The best way to get an answer is by calling Fabio directly...
Even if it's been pointless in the past. He's the only one who can give some sort of answer.
1+303 800 5752 or email from the website.
I think most of us have written the deal off. Not much doing with a de-listed company. The road back is a long one. They will need a sponsor brokerage firm willing to take on the liability. They will need SEC approval etc.
Why do ShawnJon's posts keep disappearing?
fabio, if you need a Chinese translator, let me know :)
fabio won't even talk to those who invested in his company, why would he go out of his way talking to people from China. He is nothing but a disappointment
Fabio, talk to the Chinese.
China Goes Prospecting for World’s Gold Mines

Yeah. I hear you. There were lot's of good reason's to own shares in SLTA. Unfortunately the value was never realized in the fundamentals or share-price.
From my understanding there was and may be there still is friction between Fabio & GL. Fabio doesn't seem to be able to get anything done. In a perfect world I wish GL offered him 50 cents a share buy-out and he walked away. Lifes short he's been president since 2007. Here it sits de listed dead in the water.
I'm hoping to hear from Goldlake soon.I bought this stock because of their financial commitment to Soltera and the good survey results. Fabio and his lack of communication skills still frustrates me! He has been in complete control now for six months and has told us nothing. Shame on him!!!
Good question. GL is supposed to be doing an IPO this year. Not sure if that's still a go or not. GL bought the Honduras mine in 2003 they didn't bring it into production until 2009. The way Fabio & GL ran the company into the ground it's anyone's guess what they do now.
Is there any reason to hope for any action from Goldlake or Fabio this year?
Huh surprise surprise...
Goldlake's site is back up. Must have been down for maintenance. Low and behold SLTA is still on the site as a project. Maybe there is hope for the piece of toilet paper certificate I have.
Phoning Fabio is useless...
Always has been. The guy was told on many occasions the stock would be de listed. Him and the Vancouver office destroyed the company's listing.
As for Goldlake, simply stupid to not fund the company sinking their own investment. Soltera mining is not on GL's website, from what I can find. Goldlake appears to have no website any-more. Most likely hiding from those out seeking legal avenues to deal with these bunch of incompetent idiots.
Soltera's site is still up. All that's left of "Fabio's dream" looks as though this deal is dead and gone. Dave & Carlton P can tack this one on to the rest of their pump & dump deals they were apart of destroying.
You can phone Fabio
1+303 800 5752
The play is still on Goldlake's website as a project & Soltera's website is still active...last I looked anyway.
Thanks for your 2 cents 88, it's worth more than our stock now. It would be nice to hear from management that they are still working on a sale. I had figured Goldlake gave up and just walked away.
From my understanding...
There has been an on-going battle between Fabio & Goldlake on buy out of SLTA. Apparently Goldlake is doing an IPO this year. From the look's of the share-structure Goldlake & Fabio have the most to lose if this play goes under entirely. Plain stupid to ignore the SEC/BCSC requests for compliance since 2009.
The best out-come for the stock market & shareholders; if Goldlake buy's out the SLTA shareholders and go private. It's painfully obvious the incompetent management can't operate a public company.
Nothing form our management for months now. Does anyone know anything new? There was talk before our delisting of a class action against Fabio and Goldlake.
I also tried twice during December but I got no response.
After epiphany I will try to call him instead of send another email.
Tried it, no response.
perhaps we should email him again? there shouldn't be any reason holding him back telling us what he has something up his sleeves~
He has told us nothing. He still gives us no respect after we have invested in what was his dream project. Turning into our nightmare!
what's been informed from Fabio?
It's been great how now that Fabio is in control we have informed about our Soltera investment! What a great year it has been with this stock! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Me too........You are not alone.
Thanks for the reply, I have a lot riding on this.
No....this board has nothing to do with the revocation. You are now the proud owner of shares in a private company. May be in the future we will be public again. there are many ways this scan work out. we just have to wait and be patient or not. It does not much matter what we do now as investors..........except we have to wait.
I have been in similar situation in others stocks and they came back a made me money.I hope this will be like that also.
When will this board come down now that we have been delisted.
ShawnJon, I am new to the board but have owned slta for years. I always appreciated your posts and recently miss your input. Your last post said more to follow, but that was over a month ago. Can anyone provide me with an update?
He will be back tomorrow :P
Its too late for the past. In a way this may be the better outcome in the long run and offer some now energy and break up the old ways. Everyone is in the soup now and everyone has to work together to cook a good meal .....or we all go hungry.
The only way anyone gets their money back now is to make it all work...........so in many ways it is a more focused energy. Updates or no updates.........one day we will get out of bed and we will have something. That is how I see it.
Updates might help the time go by ..........yet what really helps is a good deal of some kind.........IMO.
I wonder if any of the investors who contacted the SEC in the first place had the sense to send a request to the judge to review and reconsider his revocation order.
It's crazy to punish the investors who contacted them and especially after the company spent big $$ to get current.
Hopefully Fabio will keep us updated on a regular basis.
Such "historical work" is complicated.
First it depends on the geologist which is creating the NI report.
IF and in what magnitude this old data can be used to calculate an NI compliant resource etimate. It is a personal opinion of the geologist.
How much data of those old drillings is available to SLTA?
Are old drill cores at hand (to be sent to lab again)?
Can the old drill holes be located on site?
How valid are the locations of that historic drill grid - today GPS locations are used.
Maybe some "infill drilling" is used to validate the historic drilling.
Or the old data is completely dismissed by the expert.
It's all speculation until the indipendant geologist has a first look and creates "recommendations" how to go forward...
Agreed, the board is currently not so aggressive as it was earlier. :)
I wonder how much more drilling we do need? some work was done in the past, as mentioned in the last 10K. I would guess we ned a few million to drill it out..........but I am not sure how much more you need of the 43-101 or even if there are various levels to the 43-101 and how much can be inferred?......etc.
I sure do love the nice mood of the board now.............:)
"The El Torno Project was investigated by Puma Minerals in 1997 and by Peñoles between August and December 1999. Puma Minerals had conducted more than 2,100 metres (6,890 feet) of drilling in 16 holes. Following the Puma Minerals exploration work, Peñoles, conducted in trenches grab samples, a detailed geologic survey, and geophysical prospecting by IP methods. In a second stage, Peñoles carried out an estimation of the main structure cut by the drills of Puma in an extension of 1.3 kilometres (0.8 miles). In the only three geophysical profiles performed by Peñoles on the first 1.3 kilometres (0.8 miles) it was also observed the presence of a cloak-type structure with moderate to high chargeability, located between the 50 and 125 metres (164 and 410 feet) of depth which had not been revealed earlier by the Puma Minerals drills."
Using the "F" Word and attacking people calling them idiots on the board.. to those thagt disagree with hem on the future of SLTA...I think it has a bright future going forward JMHO
Seems like personal attacks...
ouch. what did he do?
With the currently available data (sampling, some geophysics) there could be a first NI report created, agreed.
BUT without (extensive!) drilling there's no chance that it will contain some meat for us, some resource estimates (inferred, indicated etc.)!!
Only drilling will show us IF we have a viable mine here...
And what do we need to get the drill turning? Yes, money!
Msg.
Very simply put just need a 3rd Party geologist to go to the mine and also
review the exploration data. Then give his professional opinion
and be the responsible party for the validation that the mine is
real.
he could take stock for payment/options etc as an option .
I am guessing but it could take at least 30 days +.
I hope the dilution will be minimal. We have a very viable mine
IMO .
once verified I think we could have a $3 to $5 stock.
JMHO as always.
Fanger ...........

Flagship Project - El Torno
The El Torno property contains a large near-surface gold-quartz vein up to 14 km long that was historically worked in turn by the Incas, Jesuits and Spanish who left behind more than 1,000 m of underground galleries.
The vein extends north-south, is sub-vertical, and is accompanied in places by a stockwork system of small quartz and pyrite veins that can extend up to 300 m from the main vein.
