CareGuide Names Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
CareGuide, Inc. (OTCBB: CGDE), a total population health management company, today announced that Daniel M. Galdenzi joined the Company on December 31, 2007, as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, reporting to Thomas L. Tran, the Company’s President and Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Mr. Galdenzi will oversee the information technology staffs across the company, and he will have company-wide responsibility for information technology strategy and execution, including application, data center, web technology, telephone and other related infrastructure.
Dan was most recently Assistant Vice President of Information Technology at Metropolitan Life, where he was responsible for application development for the annuity business. Prior to MetLife, Dan spent seven years at ConnectiCare, Inc., a regional health plan located in Connecticut as Director of eBusiness and Application Development, where he was responsible for IT strategy, web portals (member, provider, employer and broker), Voice Response Unit (VRU), technology platforms for customer service, claim, sales applications, broker commission, health decision tool support, care management and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Dan’s prior experience also includes serving as IT Project Manager at Oxford Health Plans and positions in Sales Engineering and Web Development capacity at three technology companies. Dan is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University.
