The ability to mark polyolefins even if it is for the govt for now, will be a great stepping stone into other high value verticals. Especially biopharmaceutical and biomedical manufacturing where a price adder for quality assurance is insignificant as compared to the cost of the product. These two verticals would definitely pay for the ability to know that the parts (bottles, hoses, gaskets and o-rings, instrument process contact surfaces, etc. are not made from counterfeit materials (from a quality perspective).
