We have a financing event coming, and that will hurt us no matter how the money comes, unless it's a buyout.

I dont know 2da, I am hopeful for a 200m upfront pmt from a partnered drug...which drug I dont know but I am leaning toward Iclusig. It is after all a BIC drug in my opinion, it will just take longer than usual to pan out.

Agreed, something's always "up". Until we get financing and data, gains like today are nice, but wholly unreliable. Half of our rally from the 7's is on rumor.

We traded our beta today, maybe some buying. Any claimed reason is speculation, not that it isn't reasonable.

I guess we're trader's hub now, not investors hub. That's about right.

I think new financing should be interpreted as vote of confidence from whoever willing to put their money in Ariad, and should help the stock price going higher given the huge potential in AP26113 and the new drug to be introduced by the end of this year.
