You joke but AMD has to pursue a thin line here. For publication they must attribute ANY success to "Intel's sudden rescission of tactics" to keep AMD from the market effected as a result of the law suit. That of course means that they must downplay any claims they have for 64bit, ex cetera.
I am not sure how they should treat the slow down in the market. Is Intel "Osborning" its own existing product line? These are issues that must be resolved by O'Melveny.
Believe me, it is a tough job to simultaneously reconcile and keep consistent all the facts especially when you are making them up as you go along.
