I use scottrades total view and open book services much more in depth compared to level 2 - I only use it to judged how strong or weak overall the bid vs ask or vice versa to double check the s/r levels intraday .. I do agree with fake b/a at times HFT coming on and off.. I'd say roughly 60-70% of the time it's useless though just my 2 cents. I never use by itself but added with other tech indicators and s/r levels it's good to use in tandem at least for me it works - sometimes lol

I wish I could say I never have a red trade but that would be a fairy tail lol
