Actually, Flip, it sounds as if you have done a good job sticking to your plan...maybe not 100%, but close...

It also sounds like you have decided on a vehicle and a time frame that suits your personality...

A lot of people really don't have a plan...

And some who have a written plan are trying to trade in a manner that goes counter to their emotional makeup...

I don't mean to sound as if I have the answers, but this topic is something that I do think about extensively...

OT Regarding fast & slow cognitive modes,
it seems there are some good books about that.

If I were not so slow, I might read them.

Seems to me that "fast" is reactive and/or emotional.
I do like you folks who are very "slow" - deliberative.
