GOiLD, exactly. The JDA would not neccesarily make the drilling information public, but if the data creates cross-boundary "issues" then all the affected block participants would have to be informed, and unitization, or some similar process, would have to be worked out. Again, my only point here is that Chevron would not be able to easily monopolize the data to their advantage. I believe this is one reason why BP is suddenly interested in B5. If Chevron found something in B1 that goes all the way to B5 then the B5 participants must surely have been informed of it. The other reason being that blocks 2, 3 and 4 are, well, spoken for.
