I think many of us were disappointed by Friday's volume in the face of such newsworthy financials.
To me the saddest thing was the distribution of trades.
The conference call should have enhanced the excitement but instead we find that roughly 3/4ths (72%) of the trades took place in the two hours before the CC with only a third as many taking place in the 4-1/2 hours during and after the call.
Management had a great story to tell, they told it well, but the volume failed to launch because the target audience was, in my opinion, not efficiently invited to the party.
Hence my earlier comment that the CC was primarily "Preaching to the Choir".
