Not sure it's going to be a 'monster' but Vpartments does look kind of interesting, I could see it potentially catching' on with enough public awareness.

VPartments, Inc. is the newest entry into the social networking space - with an entirely new platform for online socialization. Our site at: www.VPartments.com ditches the standard online social profile - instead offering members their own free full-fledged virtual apartment that showcases their likes, loves and activities in a realistic (and explorable) environment.



Our goal in creating VPartments is to bring social networking into the 21st Century. These FREE virtual apartments (much like an individual's home) will display the personality, style and activities of their residents. The VPartments will have items (not icons) that reflect the interest of the member, as well as incorporate social components (chatting, news feeds, info sharing, photo sharing, etc). And all of this - without the intrusive advertising and data mining that's running rampant with most social sites!

We've taken a number of huge steps to get to where we are - and now we need Your help to make those final few steps to get us to the launch pad.


How You Can Help & Where We'll Use the Funds

We are hoping to raise $120,000 to secure the hosting & IT necessary to handle what we expect to be a humongous launch. Additionally, we are working to create a few extras that members will really love - including a Clubhouse in the lobby of our virtual tower.
For helping us to reach this goal, there are perks like you've never seen before! We'll be giving away some great VPartments merchandise, a few very unique tech gadgets, and to literally top it all of - a limited number of Penthouses in VPartments. (Once the Penthouses are taken - there will never be more) (even in a virtual space - the top is still the top).
If we miss our target - we'll be comitting the funds that are raised solely to helping secure the necessary hosting, but if we exceed our goal - we'll be able to add even more fun stuff - like a slew of virtual games in the Clubhouse & much more!
