As far as I can tell, they are direct competitors in the NO arena.

Whether NTMD has anything of value beyond BiDil remains to be seen, however. For that matter, it remains to be seen whether BiDil itself has much value: sales in 4Q05 (reported today) were all of $3M. This is for a product that some sell-side shills said would do $200M in the first full year.
