Naked shorts... technically they don't ever have to cover until
they are leveraged by price increase (aka a margin call).

Naked short positions can be swapped to another MM to created a new
date of record for the position, therefore creating a forever open
short position.

Retail shorts exist, but are NOT a huge part of the OTC, contrary to
popular belief.

You can find a broker overseas to short, but in most cases you need
a PHAT wallet.
