Transat5, that's actually a pretty good idea, but let me add to it. Hummmm! If I were a group of wealthy Russian investors with 600mil to invest and I wanted to dominate communications in Russia, what would I do?
1. Buy all the put options you can get.
2. Short all the shares you can get.
3. Let the rumor leak out that the Russian deal is over.
4. Continue shorting heavily until the price goes back to $1.20. Buying long the shares that others dump.
5. When the price hits bottom, exercise your options.
6. Then, with the profits you made off the options and shorting, offer a premium for the remaining shares that you don't already own.
7. Now lease or buy some of the aircraft manufacturing facilities that has been sitting vacant in Russia and start building stratelites in it.
8. You've bought the company, it's assetts, technology, contracts, trademarks and everything else. Now put your telecommunications network in Russia and anywhere else you want.
