They had one champion on a few of the boards who invested heavily in the stock in the belief they had some magic distribution system. It always sounded like a scam to me as they basically acted as distributor for product that was produced by insiders. They would show a nice profit one quarter, then move the money back to the private producers. It was a weird set up.
