I only use stops If i truly feel I have something to lose.

On FNMA, I don't. I only use a hundred alerts and choose when to sell.

Stops are in my opinion, only good for a slowly rising big board stock that - you don't want to watch and you already have a gain. Hence - the stop prevents LOSS but preserves your gain. (stop losses are still risky though either way)

The only stops I've ever used are trailing stop losses. That way I can get the highest big-board gain possible before even a slightly decent dip.
