Does this make bone marrow transplants unnecessary?

reported today that it has discovered a new method to generate a potent and replenishable population of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) from pluripotent stem cells

What does this mean? Is this a future way to get what we now get from bone marrow transplants?
