#173152 RE: NummyNums #173151

I would assume something may be underway since SCAM (tongue firmly
in cheek) Seiki has pushed back the 65" 4K TV release since October of
last year. AFTER NTEK likely presented them with the Scaler Options.

Basically, an INEXPENSIVE way to upscale (stretching pixels) non-
4K content to a 4K-'experience'. But Seiki, like Roku, has a VALUE
business model, which tells me that it seems UNLIKELY that they'll
install a NanoTech motherboard into their units like Skymedia has.

MAYBE, Seiki will do it with their 85" model but I wouldn't
bet on it....So,....IDK.

With ROKU, they have been SO FIXATED on cost that they have
tolerated ANOTHER chip delay which may put them out of the 4K
Market completely till 2015.

Some competition SHOULD BE expected out of The NAB Show but
I personally would welcome someone taking on the role Sony
had forged-- lead Market Awareness Driver...Sony was clearly
PUSHING 4K on a National scale in U.S. & others have not really
joined in yet. NanoTech will help change all that...But NanoTech
is SMART enough to KNOW that they CAN NOT influence the 4K Media
Market like Sony, Samsung & others (with HUGE Ad budgets) can...
so for MANY REASONS NTEK imho, has WISELY attacked the
Commercial Markets FIRST: 8,500 of 10K units shipped will be NP-C's.
