Has anyone actually verified that CEO actualy made those comments about growth slowing?

I haven't found anything.

But then, I haven't seen GOOG out there denying it, either.

"Google's chief financial officer, George Reyes, told a Merrill Lynch conference Tuesday that "clearly our growth rates are slowing."

I wonder why it took a day's delay to affect the stock?

you better than I that investing is about ANTICIPATING and not reacting.

It's my humble opinion that growth will slow and that expectations will come down hence driving the stock down...how far I don't know.

I just don't like goog's risk/reward ratio.

Mind you, I could be completely wrong in my assessment
