40$ was post 40/1 = 1$ a share
SPli no reverse split = 1$ minimum and much more likely.

PLPED(VAP*) hit .411 prior to their
ticker change and pre-split. After the split, it came in at $16.44. (.411 X 40 = $16.44. In just a short time after the split, VAP* did run to $40. I don't have a problem believing that SPLI can obtain $40 or more, in the next several months. If you look at this stock as a joke, you might want to sell out now. gltu and all! SPLI STRONG!
