great information, thank you. Yes, it might take 5-10 years for this to take off, but I think there are several applications where this technology would be ex-treme-ly handy. example: a person is rushed to a hospital, they check the persons allergies, insurance, etc. all in seconds as opposed to several minutes

also, it shows on elva's website, that if a card is stolen, elva has the ability to shutdown the use of this card, as these cards are actually authenticated on elva's servers
