RE: Problem is, I ain't getting any younger

Investing in the stock market is a complex interaction of
market forces, demographics and human emotions such as greed
and fear. Right now demographics and market forces are working
against those who had to retired in the last 2 years and probably for the next two years.

With all its faults capitalism and democracy are the great
equalizers. Would intel or Qcom have been able to generate
the wealth they have as private companies of course not. My ability to invest in companies that generate societal, intelectual and economic wealth is part of the
underpinnings of the stock market. The capitalism system works
great as long as it is transparent and not corrupt, I think no
one can deny the bubble was fueled by corruption in many public
company’s leadership.

I think the global experiment with capitalism is just beginning,
so demographics is definitely on the investors side who plans
to stay invested in the next 10-20 years. As long as the system
remains transparent and free of corruption I known the stock markets will go higher. I could choose not to invest in
intc or Qcom, but I will not be sharing in the future wealth
they will generate.
