MACHACALA: PAST PRODUCTION
From 1956 through 1991 there were two primary operators responsible for production operations on Machacala. Prior to 1979 there is little known about the results from production in terms of grades.
Between 1979-1991, when the property was operated by Santa Isabel, SA, data suggests an estimated 232,645 tons of ore mined yielding average grades of 6g/t Au and 10oz./t Ag.
Majority of past production came from three of the identified thirteen near parallel veins present on the property
Gold Hawk reported that tailings were produced from a poorly performing 100tpd concentration plant (max. 80% recovery) without having ever been through cyanidation process.
