Good point about the Fed. My guess is they are going to do something to stick it to Russia and would love to stick it to China as well. The best way to hurt them would be through gold and the best way to do it would be to do something to make the dollar stronger.
Personally I don't think the US recovery is as rosy as people think so it'll be short lived. There are many ways to play this. Some will exit gold entirely. Personally I'm watching the miners, especially the juniors that aren't so tied to the price of gold and Banro is a perfect example of that although there are many others I'm watching too.
2PM will be interesting as will power hour across the entire gold sector.
