Problem is, company hires VFIN to dilute so that they can cash out. VFIN boxes the stock (buying and selling to themselves (sometimes even opening an account with another brokerage)) to generate interest, as we get bid creep (new buyers), we offload on to them.

Once buyers get fed up, they dump at market on the no bid, which VFIN acquires. Rinse and repeat until the shares are all offloaded or until a run-up is necessary to generate new interest.
