When times are good shareholders get all the upside, and when times are bad taxpayers take all the losses. utter CHUTZPAH !!.
Last I saw, in bad times, shareholders suffered nearly 100% loss in value of their shares.
That ludicrous mantra political talking point also implies that during good times taxpayers don't receive any benefit.
Every taxpayer with a mortgage held by F&F benefited from a lower interest rate, lower monthly payment and a stable
monthly payment courtesy of 30 yr fixed that no bank has yet to offer.
