"Now that the companies are profitable and have paid significant sums back to the Treasury, Fannie and Freddie shareholders want to change the deal."
Rep. John K. Delaney (D., Md.)
Rep. John Carney (D., Del.)
Rep. Jim Himes (D., Conn.)

WTF ????

Isn't it the government the one that "changed the deal", with the 3rd Amendment.

I am confused.

These clown faces are just slapping themselves, "In exchange for this unprecedented level of support, the government negotiated a deal that allowed it to ultimately take all of the profits of the companies. Given the extraordinary level of government support, this deal seems fair to us. " --- Funny thing is, there is a 4 year time lag between these so called deals, if the government were to negotiate a deal for their unprecedented level of support by taking all the profits of the company, it should have done so in 2008, which would put the two into receivership, but the companies at the time were NOT believed to justify a receivership status by the government, and were believed and expected to recover, they put them in conservatorship instead, taking 79.9% ownership. The gov. is gonna lose big in court, guaranteed.
