One definition of critical path is: the longest sequence of activities in a project plan which must be completed on time for the project to complete on due date.

So scale up here is not "eventual critical gate" but actual critical path. It is on the longest path of sequential activities that must be done to get to clinicals and approval.

That means that every day of delay to scale up translates directly to a day of delay to clinicals and marketing approval.

So while I think scale up will ultimately be successful, it deserves attention for its importance to the overall timelines here.

I don't mean to be critical, just provide the information. I have been reading and admiring your posts here and thank you for your excellent contributions to this board.
