They probably should use 2 as the 1 might perform no better and probably worse than CLT+ and how competitive would that be in 2015 ?

Very competitive in a chip designed to go into $99 phones ;-)

Remember: in this market, nobody cares about GPU performance. It's about hitting a dirt-cheap price point and having all of those blocks integrated.

Once Intel moves all of this to 14nm, then it can offer dirt cheap *and* have the best performance. But time is of the essence!
